  2. I must admit I have not read the who thread if this has been asked before. But what am I doing wrong when this profile causes SFJackBauer A-10.pro does not contain a profile for this device.. I am on non-pro.
  3. Well, there seems to be something else wrong my end too ;S says the same message with this profile: SFJackBauer A-10.pro does not contain a profile for this device. What I am I doing wrong?

  5. Ressurecting this ancient thread as there at least is one.... I am getting desperate with this, trying to find profile for X52 (NOT PRO) versio, for A-10 C. Found one from Rgatag what was supposed to be ok for pro and non-pro at the same time, my profile selector does not even load it. Says [filename here] does not contain profile for this device. Can anyone PLEEASE point me into some short of thread where I can find something I can use. Getting very frustrated with this stuff.

  9. Hellfire me down if im wrong, but, this is not negative thing at all. I do not remember where I read this (perhaps someone asked the same thing, that why it is the way it is), the answer was that while yes it might be slower process to start the game, but it saves memory, as the SIM is different part of the GUI itself, instead of using GUI and SIM both time. It also improves stability of the SIM, but details of this I do not remember any better. If someone from ED or anyone remeber / know better can confirm this.   10. jeah you understood it right :) I am currently getting the same effect with curvature, I still twist it but not enough to overcome AP, quess I have to get used to the new rudder then. I do have another Shkval problem also, I will be using this thread for it as well. Just need to make track file to explain it better but shortly, if I allready have target, and I want to update its range, I only re-lock the target and dont move Shkval (as when you lock, it measures the range) but when I do this second time, Shkval goes nuts and jumps somewhere, and thus my bird starts to move where Shkval jumped... not nice :joystick: I has happened few times now, I should be able to replicate it.   11. It is yaw, it has something to do with joystick too as its a bit old and twitchy sometimes. AP channels are ofc on, and yes autohower is what I use as well ofc, but I guess my hand has mind of his own and when im busy looking Shkval, finding targets and what ever, I add the rudder enough to overcome the heading AP channel and start changing my heading. Hmm I understand what you mean, but to be honest, I think it would take to much time to move stuff on my keyboard, as we do have our hands full allready with this bird :) Hmm I could try to add switch for it, when toggled yaw would not work, perhaps Scroll Lock so I can see it from keyboard if its on or off... worth a try, downside offcouse is when I see SAM launch... :D. Unless someone has trick for doing that axis ignore somehow, I quess I have to settle with this. Edit (again): oh and to clarify I have joystick with Z axis (X, Y, Z), and no pedals, allthough I do plan to by HOTAS and such soon as I can afford... why I allways find something to add 3 sec after I post :P Zard
  12. I hope this is right place for such question, I had a look at problems and bugs but it looks like there was just much more technical problems. Anyway, is there any way to "ignore" joystick input when I press for example right alt? my use of Shkval moving and target locking (I guess) is kind of odd, but I like it and find it good, but I have but one problem, while I move Shkval (I use my joystick hat for it) along with right alt pressed the duration of move, when not, hat does other things (lol, ran out of easy access keyboard and joystick buttons so I though, what the hell, I have 4 more from the hat :joystick:), when I do this, I unwillingly add yaw to left and thus, at worst case, mess up my hower... So is there any way I can force ignore yaw or even all axis movement while I use Shkval? PS. had a look at manual and the modifier place but what I need is kind of reverse-modifier :D Edit: I currently use yaw curvature to numb the yaw but I dont like it this way at all. Zard
  13. that would be nice to have, though that my self too but its been long time since I have laid my hands on those, perhaps better that I don't :huh: And I also think that this change was a bit harsh, I am having enough troubles flying the ka-50 back to base every time, and now that A.I has become one terminator machine + my own mistakes, I am actually making negative progress yay! This is a simulation yea, but it does not mean it cant be enjoyable unless your lucky, or just plain good at it (witch I am not). And IMO, to say "this is the way it was meant to be" is not really that good statement, as this cant possibly been that hard to apply to relase version, this was change, not correction what is was supposed to be, in my opinion at least.... ahh, its been long time I have vented some steam out I see, no offense meant to anyone, just had to let loose some pressure... :noexpression: Zard

Ahh you were on vacation, I missed that if you told that you were gone, absolutely great news indeed, all I could do is a big smile when I read "this is a go" :pilotfly::joystick: And the new idea of "how to do it" is as well pretty nice idea there, I could say that waiting something good is annoying, just like waiting this /¤&% DCS patch to arrive allready lol, wish we were getting that in small peaces :P Also in todays pirated world, copy protection is indeed good idea, if something costs there are ppl who just want it free and do not value the work one has seen before it...   16. Very well made, in all levels. Easy to follow up, not too hasty, and detailed info "what am I doing and why". English is not my native language but I had no trouble following up, what really surprised me, usually this happens on more complex explanations of systems, all I can say, well done. To be honest, I would even donate for your effort and pay that $50 for final product, but the current financial downfall is bad enough for my budget, but I would still buy the final product for that price.   17. jeah, I do use the DCSMax myself too, interesting idea as well, allthough since were (hopefully) getting patch "soon", dont know if its worth the time :glare:
  18. good points I agree, all though I did see them coming :P was going trough my head thinking that ye, well it dosent simulate you driving to the air base or getting transferred to where ever your base would be. Dont know how it is going to be in the patch, if it would be possible to have an gameplay option for cold start or "ready to take-off" choice, but if this is set up in the mission it self, dont know if that is possible?
  19. Thanks for the ultra fast replyes :thumbup: I guess I edit them until the patch comes. Well yeah, it does, but if an pilot x was given an oders to patrol area y, this would mean that there is allready heli waiting the pilot, engines and all systems running, what is unrealistic. same as if my car would wait trough the night for me to wake up at morning for work :P (well maby in the future we can program them to do start engines when we wake up or smt) but thanks for the info im off to :pilotfly:and :joystick: Zard
  20. I hope this goes to right forum, as this is not really an bug, problem, or anything related. I am just a bit confused thats all. as this is a very realistic sim, and loving it, but as soon as I started my campaign one realism killer hit me in the eye :doh: allmost ALL systems (navigation, engines, CM, radios, ect ect ect) are allready on when I start my mission. I am not a pilot in real life nor have I played flight sim since apache hawoc (allthough played it many years, after that moved to Submarine sims SH3 and 4 along supermods made for them) and now moving to BS, and love the challange it offers. Before I started my campaign I went trough most of the training remonstrations and rearned trough errors I made and trying again, how to start the engines and other systems, but now when I start the campaing, all my learing is more or less vain because I can just lift off and fly away without worrying that did I remember all the things... Is there a way to change this, or am I missing something out? Playing on Simulation + Labels settings :helpsmilie:
