Well ok, subjective. Not out of control but also not too much into control I can fly where I want but it´s difficult just because of the "digital throttle" (Idle,full) and the weak rudder. In OA I had to tune all the controls to make it flyable. Will give it another try (more than 5 mins). Doesn´t feels good atm. I´m confident that this is going to be a great game in a very far feature. FM is the core of a heli game. :P

Checked it a few mins ago and was very dissapointed. The FM trys to simulate a flightmodel makin it just difficult but realistic. Dislike so far. Arma OA Fm was at least controllable. It´s hard to fly turns atm in Take on.

As I heard this I had to laugh and thought: Wow they finally shipped the full PC version" instead of the console demo for PC :D

Seriously I would fly it with pride. Fits well into ED´s "ugly but awesome" aircraft list :D

REX and Carenado already made it into the X-plane world. :)

I did but not directly.

The very first thing I can remember that maybe brought me to love aviation was a model plane of my father that he has build during his time in the NVA (national people army loosly translated, the former army of the german democratic republic.) He had no remote control stuff so we tuned the rudder a bit to one side and let him go. The name of the plane was schwalbe and it had about 1,60 meter wingspan made of pure wood and paper and it took around 20 mins until it came down again after a pretty nice flight(without control). It was a bit broken afterwards but I repaired it and itś still a in a nice condition to do it again but we better keep it at the ground to avoid damage. It was awesome because he launched it with the knowledge it won't return just that I can see it fly. Many other events like flying an tornado on a Bundeswehr simulator led me one by one to the guy I am today. Just curious how you guys came that long way since not even one of my friends are into aviation that much. :pilotfly:

Hmm Itś hard to make a study sim of a "aircraft" that doesn exist so instead If I had a choice it would be clearly MI24-Hind for shizzle. Thats pretty much unklikely than the millenium falcon so why not.

I think they´re actually three: Flex, AD and someone working on the HTR flight model.

Wäre wichtig da ich momentan viel Zeit übrig habe und zumindest eine kleine Add on Map basteln würde. Hab da schon etwas Erfahrung. Wäre nur schade wenns dann weder am Copyright hängt wie mein damaliges X-Plane Addon Thuringia VFR

Lol I love this cam but never managed it to watch the whole clip. I´m also following the project for about a year as "thomas" Like a daily newspaper or sthg.

Chinook will also be available flyable some time after full release. Add on I guess.(From what I´ve heard)

Freu mich drauf! Mich würde mal interessieren wo ED Satellitendaten herbekommt. ALso die heightmaps sind glaub ich weniger das problem aber wo bekommt man die texturen legal her? Gut man kann illegalerweise google maps anzapfen allerdings dürfte man es dann noch nicht mal als freeware veröffentlichen. Kommerziell wäre natürlich bei hohem arbeitsaufwand bzw Lizenskosten auch angebracht.

I don´t think that DCS is used as something else but Mowercore. Seriously thats the reason why 95% of the players are flying this sim. (If not they get to the state where they also want it mowercore in some months) :D
