Hey guys, I gave the World 2.0 a shot today and I was really impressed. Those graphics are very suitable and the performance was buttery smooth on my old CPU. I´m pretty much teased to reenter the cockpit for a deeper study of the mi8. Good work ED, even if it took a little longer.

Hmm, must have missed the point when Dcs raised its requirements. My System went old anyway :(

I got the same problem with a phenom 2 945 3 Ghz x4, 4gig, win7 64 and GTX 470. It runs mostly fluid but then I got the same freezes for up to 10 secs which ocurre more often with growing game time and they get longer. Kills DCS since a long time for me. Haven´t done a reinstall since many patches because of a very slow internet connection. (no mods installed)

Same here, take on was a little disapointing.

I spent some time with sound modding, so I listened to a lot of sounds made by ED with professional audio hardware. I came to the conclusion that sound modding isn't necessary in any way. The p51 sounds fantastic and so does the huey. (Same for ka50 and a10c)

My ISP provides me with astonishing 400kB/s, this will take months to complete.

To a certain point, yes. I had to do an emergency landing with my shark cause I needed to puke. Thats not very useful in dombat especially if you re the lead. :D

DCS just needs a a mesh with a higher resolution to get some smooth mountains and some "fresher", greener, lievelier groundtextures. I guess thats not a big problem, so I´m pretty confident EDGE will get this done.

I've build an entire set of garden furniture. If my Huey isn't released soon, I've to rent another garden to find a find a place for them.

Oculus rift or similar will be the new standard for flight sims. T is the first time you can look down to the ground and feel the height. Trackir was necessary for fs to orientate and not have to use the coolie hat, next step is a full fullscreen. No doubt, no way to escape. Rift or die :D

Klingt doch schonmal gut. Für den Ministick brauchst du eine kleine Deadzone weil der nie ganz zentriert.

Bei x plane hab ich den profiler allerdings nicht verwendet faellt mir ein.

Kann mir nur vorstellen das etwas im xplane doppelt belegt ist. Moeglicherweise eine vorkonfiguration von xplane. Jedoch waere es schon grosser zufall wenn das bei mehreren tasten der fall ist und bei xplane kann das eigentlich auch nicht passieren. Wenns vom stick kommt nimmt man das fuer gewoehnlich per delay weg soweit ich mich erinnern kann. Liegt alles schon eine Weile zurueck.

Das mit dem Bluescreen kam bei mir durch den clutch button der zum profilwechsel da ist. Mit Xplane hatte ich ueberhaupt keine Probleme. Ich hab allerdings nienden Profiler offen gelassen. Benutzt hab ich ihn mit win 7 64 bit. Die Programmierung fand ich jetzt auch nich so schlimm da ist der Von Thrustmaster und ch products wesentlich fummeliger. Meine profile hab ich bestimmt alle noch. Kann ich dir ja mal zuschicken.

Versuch am besten mal ein einfaches Testprofil zu basteln. Geht wenn man sich die Tastaturbefehle von DCS ausdruckt recht schnell von der Hand. Achte am besten drauf dass das Profil auch für den Pro ist und nich den normalen. Ansonsten hilft es wenn man in DCS alle Zuweisungen die auf den Joystick gehen entfernt. Jedoch nicht die Tastaturkommandos. Du weist ja über den Profiler die Tastaturkombinationen zu. Alternativ den Profiler nicht verwenden und alles direkt im Sim zuweisen. Da hab ich aber mit dem Stick keine erfahrung wie das mit Modifiern geht, Weitere Tipp: Wenn du bei dem Stick auf Eigenschaften gehst also bei geräte und Drucker wo man auch die Tasten testen kann. Dann Aktivier dort mal "Disable Clutch Button" Das ist der wo das "I" drauf steht an der Throttle. Ich hatte wenn ich ihn in im game gedrückt hatte davor manchmal abstürze. Probier erstmal. Sollten alles Einstellungssachen sein. Das mit dem CLutch BUtton war bei mir wichtig. Probier das mal als erstes.

Bin mir nicht mehr sicher ob der Thorttle am Stick oder andersrum angeschlossen war. Mir ist aber während den Einsätzen nie die Verbindung verloren gegangen. Evtl etwas sichern.
