Hi Gryzor It is independent of the day time in the simulation. I had flat shadows enabled. I switched it off, it helped a bit, but it is still there. 90° left roll, if I turn my head (VR) to the ground, there it is: micro stuttering. Does not happen when on the airfield parked and looking left and right.

Any news on this topic? Case II MISSION in supercarrier.

I run on HP Obelisk 875: -Intel i7-8700CPU @ 3.2GHz -32GB RAM -Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 -VR oculus Quest2 Windows11 DCS settings: Low Module: F/A-18 Hornet Issue: at low altitude when looking left or right in direction of the ground the image is stuttering. Same when a jet comes in opposite direction and I follow it left or right side of the cockpit. I will try to provide a track play. Thanks a lot.

Strange FPS drop over trees/low to ground

I have the exact same issue. Any update on this? I will try on Flight Simulator2020 with the Super Hornet and see if I get the same issue. By the way, I have a RTX-2070. Everything is smooth except when I look right or left to the ground. I‘m using vr quest2. I also put everything on low but nothing improved.

There are a lot of clouds in the missions, but on this one it’s just too much. It’s like being in a submarine. There is definitely a problem(could be that rain rendering issue or so), even landing at the end, I used TACAN and ILS but saw the runway by total luck and landed. My advice until it is fixed: immortal and go to 20’000 feet. Change the elevation of the target waypoint and start bombing B-52 style. Advice for landing: TACAN+ILS and a lot of luck. But beside this, great campaign. I learned a lot on the A-10C. I will definitely buy again from baltic_dragon!

Did someone test the Q2 hand tracking in DCS? Does it work? Can we play without the controllers? Just with the hotas?

I just wanted to post this. I have the exact same issue! Wingman blocked by a hummer. I also watched this mission in youtube and it is completely different to what I experience. In the youtube video, the player is slaloming between firefighter trucks and the voice says: “mooooove, mooove”.

-I love a company where the management is 100% behind the developers. Many outstanding products came out from a:”it will be ready when it’s ready”(Of course there is also the 80/20 rule ). -Let’s just keep calm and wait(hopefully not longer that for the movie “Maverick”). -To pass the time: Fly the A-10C, fly FS2020 VFR and IFR add-on course(very realistic) or shoot some Vipers with your hornet. The day will come when the hornet is finished…then I’ll buy the super carrier .

Here is how I did it(status sep 2021): -climb to 20’000 or above asap. -as soon as the wingman detects something, engage him immediatly. He will destroy every air-defence. That means that you can save some GBU-38s. -If you engage the wingman immediately, Warrior 1 doesn’t need your support and you can jump directly to Warrior 2 to destroy the Bunkers. -I have the feeling the bunker coordinates from Warrior 2 are not correct. Also he asks for GBU-12 and is lasing? I just ignored and used the coordinates from the briefing and bingo, Warrior 2 is happy. Destroy the main building with the remaining GBU-38. Then go below the clouds and destroy what remains with the mavericks and rockets. -Wasn’t that difficult

After 3months of waiting, on the day the TM warthog was supposed to arrive, the delivery date was updated from mid february to mid may. No explanation given of course. I find no words to describe my anger. I have now decided to put DCS on hold. I’m also not buying any modules until I got my Hardware. I’m wondering how many are in the same situation than me. The new players curve for DCS probably stopped growing since some months. Could they claim TM? Inner peace... breath....

Same issue here. Just got mine yesterday, the weapon select switch FWD needs help to center back. I will send it back.

I was wondering the same. Thrustmaster F/A-18 stick is perfect but the Warthog throttle is not close enough to F/A-18 hornet. A no go for me. I'm looking on the internet since months to find the perfect match, so frustrating(aerotronics, Winwing?). Just a set from Thrustmaster to change the buttons and UPGRADE the warthog throttle to F/A-18 hornet throttle would be great and I would buy the whole package the second it is on sale(anyway everything is sold out and prices are rising, we can see the consequence of Covid-19).

Solved: Don’t know what it was. I pressed preset, mapping and home button on thrustmaster. Then I realized that in instant mission even with option in simulator and not game the setting from hornet game were used. So I exit the mission and went to training mission. Training missions used the option hornet sim for simulation. All good! I anyway changed all airplanes controls to be sure. I also create a dcs account and logged in. Funny that there are no wheel brakes in hornet game only for hornet sim...

Hello I have thrustmaster hotas X joystick. I’m in VR oculus rift. I bought F/A18Hornet from steam. All worked fine. I bought on Monday logitech rudder pedal flight pro. Since then it is a complete nightmare. My toe brake of the rudder pedal are controlling pitch and roll of my joystick. The plane crashes. Problem is for DCS all planes alone as the rudder&joystick work perfectly on x-plane game! I search the complete internet for an answer 24h a day. I tried everything: -clean the hotas &rudder column and remap. -uninstall/install DCS. -delete all config input files and folders under c:/user. -unplug rudder pedal -plug rudder pedal in another USB slot -try to edit the config input file(as I got the feeling that the rudder brake axis are under hotas profile... but that didn’t change in the game. Can someone help me? I really would like to start flying the hornet.
