i was wondering if you can change the FOV in BS to have a better view of the battle field. i don't have a head tracking system,so changing the FOV in the game files would benefit me!

i like version 1.00 best! ai's are much better!

try to lower your graphics! lockon is cpu limited also it only sees one core when you have many.

that sounds good! make sure that your graphic card has enough power to play games at high settings on the 27. i think lock on FC and black shark my have some problems with such a big screen,but i'm not sure please do some reading on this.

tell us step by step what you are doing when installing or starting up the game. did you delete all later lockon patches? if not you need to delete all mods and earlier patches for this game.reinstall with a fresh install(no mods no patches no old files of the game). install the 2cd platinum. don't forget to install the lastes dx 9.00c or higher

yes it does but wags said that you can get wingmen to go to certain points and recon that area. if i'm at one point i should be able to send a nav point and have him recon that point. it would make it much easier to over map areas with know targets,if you have a 4 chopper squad.

i heard that you can get the wingman to recon at different points! i know how to get him to recon right in front of me,but how do you get him to recon a point on the map? do you always have to point your nose in the direction you want him to recon or put in a point using the pvi 800 etc...?

i have done some ground attack ME's and i know that you have to use the right aircraft for the job. in the dcs ME model the fighter jet has to detect the ground threat with it's radar to attack the ground target. when you set an aa gun on the me map(anywhere)use a su-25 or a-10,make sure that their way points go thru the aa guns area of detection. when you make their way points make sure you set them at FLY OVER POINT(in other words the attack way point should go right over the aa gun),so the jet has to fly thru that way point to get a detection from the ground target and when the fighter jet detects the ground threat it will move out for the area and set up it's attack run.

the dcs a-10c game is more detailed and more realistic. the a-10a in FC2 is ok but doesn't have the ablities as the a-10c. dcs a-10c is a real flight sim and will be loved by real flight sim players! like me ;) if dcs does make another flight sim i would love to see the av8 harrier or the sea harrier!

they are both really good for any dcs product that is out right now! succellus is right!(ATI/AMD - INTEL/NVIDEA pair is possible). if you are going to have a high end CPU you must have a high end graphic card to go with it! remember that FC2 and Dcs Blackshark are single threaded games,they depend on the cpu,but really can't use multicore systems. dcs a-10c will run fine with the 2 cpu's that you are thinking about buying.

the intel dual core 15-680 3.6 is good for dcs products! just make sure you put in 6g's of ram and a good graphic card(ati series 57 or 58 )( nivida 250gtx or higher). that's just my thought!

i don't think so,inu points are good to have in missions. this new patch needs a repatching. i may go back to 1.00,the AI are better and mission editor is ok! you had to rework an a mission that was standard in the game? so if hit had inu points you could use them and just move them about?

yes they did in the 1.01 and 1.01a.

the dcs black shark version 1.00 ships could attack targets on coastal areas from sea,but they took that away from the newer patches

how do you put in inu points in the new patch 1.02? i tried to put the inu points in a mission but it's a no go,but before the patch i was able to do so. the inu selection doesn't work!!! please help!!

i only get on servers with 100ping or less. i'm in sweden i don't have FC2

i have the lastes BS patch 1.0.2. the server pings were good on the servers i tried to get on. what is a tracert command? 51' and 104th servers but get this i can join a server from china but not in europe or usa.should i update java? this work around will it work for BS? where would i edit the file in BS

i can host just fine! my pc is a single core. in the older patches i had no problems! what is network.cfg? i have a fiber cable(whatever that means) my download in avg.7.5 mbits and upload avg 5.0mbits

i always get a client ping time out! i have a good internet connection. sometimes i do get on the server and play for sometime and then boom,i get kicked! what can i do to fix this?????

you can't save a farp template! there are mods for farp templates,but i never could save a farp on a template.

you are right about 1.02,but it's something you will have to get pass. i liked that you can listen to the radio and have ships attack ground targets on the beach. how do you voice in DCS BS and what do i need to so?

i was reading that the mi-28 has igla-v(ir) missiles that can attack tanks. can this missile be used or outfitted for the k-50,k-52 series?

yeah! if you come in with a smooth flight to the target and use your hand lighly. you can hit targets with rockets with no problems

my curves are set to 80 and dead zones to 21. i like it not to be so touchy,but it all about what feels good to you.

i can change it,but 1.02 is a fraps killer! my fraps drop like crazy to 5 fraps
