I had this problem and used the regedit too. Whenever I would switch ports though I had to do it all again. This was easier and worked for me right click on start and select run > type devmgmt.msc > press enter >right click on each usb root hub and select properties > click the power management tab > uncheck box for "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

I am currently getting 60+fps in mi-8. Before I messed with settings and my graphics.lua I was getting around 30fps. I also was running in borderless window mode. Now I run full screen. Something I did below did change the performance, I just don't know exactly which setting change did make the difference. I did 2 tweaks in graphics.lua, which I have done for years with my DCS sims and it does make a "massive" difference for me. This will obviously work for all your modules, not just MI-8 Someone figured this out a long time ago and I can't remember who it was. Hopefully it helps some of you. I use notepad++ for tweaks. My system specs in my sig. Mission crashed twice in the same spot. It happened when I was dropping "Kondor" off at Shpora. Also, in the radio message the squad name is "Condor". Thanks to Suchacz I was able to finish. Thanks man. I messed around with the ADF and found something. I opened my map and panned to the east and you can see the landing zone to the N.E.-E. I tuned the ADF just a little bit higher than required and I found the signal. It took me right to the target.

Ive been a customer since 2009 and this is the first time I have ever had a serious issue. You keep insisting its the same problem when it isnt. You havent even looked at my ticket. I am a software engineeer also. I understand the logic. I figured it out on my own time and told you over a ticket. Yet.... I finally get a response on my 2 week old ticket and you tell me the same god damn thing I keep on hearing. I love your sims, but as for your customer service.... its bullshit. Seriously.... **** off. I feel as if you are ****ing with me now. I will definitely do my best to make sure everyone knows what the hell everyone goes through here. Its really too bad. Ok I went to the starforce website and found some information for you. It has some information on the hardware code. First I will link this: http://www.star-force.com/support/users/deactivate/ Then in a support FAQ I found: 1.4 What is a Hardware Code? I cannot find a Hardware Code. It is a code that contains computer parameters and is used to activate and deactivate an application manually. A Hardware Code is displayed (automatically) in the activation window after a Serial Number is entered. 1) Login to http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/ 2) Click on "Orders" which you will see on the left navigation menu after you are logged in. 3) Click on "Details" which you will see in the column named "Actions" of your purchased module. 4) Your Serial is located just below the download link.

The DCS A-10C was bought with my main account. The same one all of my other DCS simulations were bought with. I go to my orders and I see it sitting there. If you please read my ticket; it explain everything there. Again, I can see my key if I follow the "Details" link. Just like every other module. I can play single player just fine. If I follow the other link and press the button "Show Serial" it is blank. Every other Module I have this is not blank. It shows my serial. The master server does not see my A-10C serial when I try and login with the A10-C module activated. Please read my ticket. I am sorry but I am frustrated that I keep repeating myself and my ticket explains everything in fine detail. A few days ago it was updated by Wags. Then I looked at the ticket and there was nothing. The email telling me it was updated was a blank message. I have the order number if you need it. Can this be resolved?

Thanks fellas I appreciate your help, but I bought it through ED's DCS website way before Steam carried it and I have only one account with all of my purchases. I spent a few hours on the forums trying to sort it out myself prior to contacting support and have read through every sticky. Bruno, Ethereal - thanks! I did find that page prior and the serial is not listed there either, like I never even bought it. Though when I look at my orders page I see I purchased DCS A-10 (during beta) on Completed 06.10.2010 23:46:29. The proof of my purchase is there. I know exactly what the problem is. It is the one and only inconsistency. I described it above. It is located in my orders page. I have the key on the details page so I can play it single player. When I go to the page with the button, "Show Serial", there is no serial. Every other purchase I have does have a serial number when I click that button. When it contacts the master server it is looking for that specific serial. When support looks at my account they will see it.

The one for digitalcombatsimulator.com When I uncheck A-10C through my module manager I can login just fine. My A-10C serial is the problem.

My appologies. I wasn't aware it was bumping it. I was just trying to be thorough. I have to use the upgrade version. I cannot install it via the CMD line as stated here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030 "*Note for KA-50 Upgrade, You need to use the installer and choose Upgrade from the Drop down menu for License Type.".

While trying to install the Upgrade from DCS: Black Shark 1 to DCS: Black Shark 2 (download version) I receive the error: "Can't install KA-50 1.2.6.17746 into newer DCS World 1.2.6.18651. Please, download KA-50 1.2.6.18651 installer." Makes perfect sense, but will you please upload this newer version? The torrent file is also linked to the older version. Also, since i'm here, can you please look in to ticket #26043? Thanks!

I also have this problem when trying to play A-10C or KA-50 BS2 online. "Invalid Serial Number" I have tried every single thing I can think of. I have installed the A-10C module using both installation methods. CMD prompt and its own installer. I have used 2 deactivations now while trying to sort this out. Also there is this: 1) I login to the website 2) I click on Orders 3) I then click Details 4) I DO see my Serial number below the download link for KA-50 and A10-C When I click: 1) Orders 2) Then click the product link in the "Cart" column 3) There is an option to "Show Serial Numbers" 4) I see "You don't have any serial numbers for this product.". I DO have serials for these products which can be seen using the previous method. 5) When I click this button for Huey, Combined Arms and SU25 I DO see a serial number These two products (Once activated through single player) have no key in Module Manager (I am logged in) There is NO dollar sign in DCS World. They are in fact "Activated" It seems to me there is a database error here and it is preventing online play. I contacted support a few nights ago and am still waiting for a response. I will keep you posted. Please check to see if you have this same problem. Cheers!

Had fun in there until the real life storm knocked out my electricity! The mission is amazing and an awesome experience.

While doing startup procedures, after a few beers tonight, I noticed something. I just wanted to share this which just goes to show the amount of detail ED has put in to this simulation. It was just great. After APU start and APU gen on I didn't initiate the ac gen power. I turned on the left engine, which throttled up to its normal 24%-25% then I throttled up the right Engine which would not push past 20%. I looked behind me and saw my left engine fans rotating fast and steady, I looked to the right and the right engine fans where noticeable slower. Meh - so what - I went through the rest of the procedures and throttled up to taxi; yes I turned right and right in to the hangar wall. I finally realized what I did wrong after pulling out my cheat sheet for the startup procedure. ED never ceases to amaze me. Thanks ED for taking our hobby to the next level and then some.

Exact same problem as OP. Must be a WIP. The airbase is AWESOME though - During Taxi I really felt immersed because of the structures; their textures are incredible. I will have to report the German pilot who ran right in to me though while in the queue! Yup - this does happen sometimes. I think it is a bug. If you search the forum you may find more information on this. Happens to the masses :)

First sim I have ever experienced were mavericks aren't the magical weapon of choice. No more easy lock and kill. The way the GBUs guide themselves in! It's like i'm watching a video of the real thing. Also the ordnance textures, from the rough skin on the MK-82s to the rivets on the pods. The ED community :) I could go on and on... Thank you ED!
