Cool video, had that one for ages too, and the Iceburn video and another which is kind of a compilation of that AIM-9X and other footage. I think i'll go and upload them with all the other videos i've got hosted on Youtube :)

LOL check out http://www.ati.com can't even access any drivers page, hopefully when they're all done we'll have the real 6.10's :P
edit : argh, drivers page works now, but still 6.9's up.

Something to possibly look forward to for ATI users http://www.elitebastards.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16871 according to that thread, a new MSTAA mode in hidden in the 6.10 beta driver, enabled via registry edit "EATM=1" (i think stands for Multi Sampling Transparency Anti Aliasing) if anyone is willing to guinea-pig the 6.10 beta i'd be interested in the results :)

Nice :) i think thundercracker needs to look a bit more blue in colour though, and the tail stripes need to be red/white stripes, i've attached an image :P

I've been using this mod online for several days now, it definately improves frame rate overall!
P.S still any chance of you having a look at the AIM-9 texture? if it's not possible to do, thats fine :)

1.2 BS will not utilise dual core, certain of it. I'd say to get 1.2 to run at it's best, a super fast single core or a nice Conroe and a 512mb video card will do it ;)

Yeah true :) but it would be nice to see it fixed anyways, and i'm sure that theres others that would like that too.
P.S : any chance of getting the AGM-65D/K (AND AIM-9!) weapon textures replaced with non-per pixel specular ones? :music_whistling:

Btw, just noticed the f-18 uses per pixel specular materials, any problems with it?
Yep, same issue, has absolutely no self-shadows with my X800XT, been like that for a long long time.

@Tatti: Great work, I like ur Model very much. One Problem i have: Shadows from the Plane do not cast on the Tank. I suppose this can be easily fixed with walmis Solution u can read about here:http://forum.lockon.ru/showpost.php?p=251170&postcount=37

Yep, this is indeed a fantastic piece of work......FPS increase with the R-77, excellent looking new AIM-120 and AIM-7M and FINALLY working self-shadowing on my missiles! this is a must have mod that i recommend to everyone :thumbup:

We're still waiting for ages for BS like it's a holly grail, fair percentage of us is quite tired of the waiting itself, and now, we have a new BS promo video that is going to be released..oh, announced to be released on October 17th, but not before???

Sorry for the rant..this is not me wanting to piss someone off, just a reaction of a Lockon series fan who, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks like this, feels being teased for too long and doesn't want to go thru that same hype shit again.
I have an idea, let me be one of those game testers.
That way, I will always advise other bi*ching people in this forum, wearing my enlightened Buddha rope, with the usual "Oh, trust me..Game is worth waiting. Just wait for it will pay off!" line and go every night for a chopper spin, whenever I get bored.
Those ED testers..they all look to me like Phill Collins' song "Jesus he knows me". If it turns out they're getting free boose and chicks by the swimming pools, I'm gonna start a mutiny here!
