  1. can i change Select [AM; FM;] [0..3] [0..9] [0..9] decimal [0..9] [0; 2 5; 5 0; 7 5;] to Select [AM; FM;] [0..3] [0..9] [0..9] [decimal;point] [0..9] [0; 2 5; 5 0; 7 5;] From a VA point of vie it will work but i do not know how Viacom analyzes this
  2. Yes i was. Still i don't recall hearing Russian, before i installed Viacom.
  3. My default language is english. No Russian installed on my PC.
  4. i have no problem with setting the frequencies via F16C DCS v2.0.0 profile by Bailey. I almost sue it the departure , defiantly NOT the closest one. In any case I do not want to change the tower frequency unless i tell it to
  5. But selecting another profile will disable Viacom. I have another profile loaded as a secondary one and i can call the Tower using it but i want to know why viacom is behaving like this. This should be, according to the manual, in easy com mode or when selecting "Select tunes radio" and i have none selected
  6. I'm not running in debug mode
  7. I'm not running in debug mode
  8. Another issue i have is that when i ask for taxi, while on the ground i hear e.g.: Colt 1 Ready "ROLINYA" is heavy Russian accent! How to i get rid of it this "ROLINYA"
  9. When I declare "Inbound" the radio frequency always jumps back to my departure/default tower frequency of the mission, why? I take off and change mu com1 (f16) to an alternate airport, declare inbound and the frequency changes. I believe this should happen if i have "easy com on" or "Select Tunes Radio" option selected in the Preferences. I have none of these 2 options.
  10. I managed to get to the cockpit with F1 but i still those red circles on the top right.
  11. Hi, I am trying to send some command to my wingman - following the basic suggestions in the manual. I am unable to send any commands to the wingman nor to the flight. I'm not that familiar with wingman commands. I am flying one of the default mission and i have a wingman. My comm is NOT set to easy. Do i need to set a specific frequency for my wingman? if yes how can it know it? Will these commands work for any wingman or does the mission builder has to enable something? Thanks
  12. my mistake... I had DCS installed in a different folder...
  13. right, then what else can i try? i can't keep "repairing" my installation all the time
  14. I do not have Garmin NS430 module. Is it installed by default? If yes how can i disable it?
  15. I did the same but I need to do this after each time I close DCS. Is there a better solution for it?
  16. Hi, I am having the same issue with the latest release of voice attack and viacom pro. Not sure which one causes the problem. DCS is stuck on 10% and I need to keep "repairing" it all the time. What is the right solution for it?
  17. I can't get into the cockpit in this mission. It is stuck on external view. Other missions are working fine. I see a yellow circle on the right top corner with some red arrow around it. Anyone else has this?
  18. I am using the latest version. I happens on the default map & Persian gulf Map. haven't tested it on Nevada yet. I follow the INS procedure as you suggest but could I ask you to simple start the F16 and NOT try to align the INS, simply switch it to Norm alignment and then Nav. Do you see the tadpole? I also watched the startup tutorials and even though they were created before the INS was implemented you can see the tadpole. As I stated earlier - I tired auto startup but that did not help.
  19. I have read the manual. I get the blinking "Ready" when the alignment completes. As you can see in the image, it's not an alignment offset - it shows no distance to any way point. This happened to me a few months ago and was gone after an update. Now it reappeared. Dan
  20. I added an image to show to problem. ILS of course is in NAV - the same procedure I always do
  21. Hi, In some missions the tadpole is missing/stuck in the middle: I think this was reported months ago and was closed. Is this verified bug? I am doing the same sequence as i usually do and of course INS has completed. Yet in some missions the tadpole points were is should and in others it is stuck
  22. I hope you are right as this was the initial question - If & When... The other debate here was revolving around the reason for not implementing this yet. As some of us were trying to argue it's a matter of resources and priorities and should certainly not take that long when you ARE working on it. Hopefully if someone is working on it now it will be completed within a reasonable time. Some here however, believe there are physicists, mathematicians programmer and engineers, all working tediously to add this A-G radar feature. Fearing perhaps, that realizing this is not the case may shutter the illusion of flying.
  23. That is if you conciser 15+ years in this field (software & hardware) A-G radar is another feature in this GAME. All this is a game - none of use is really flying anything here. I don't know any company who would take that long (5+ years) to add a feature to their software and still survive the market, or release so many incomplete models and still be here unless of course they are the only one... And again - I want to remind you that I do enjoy this game but this does not blind me to believe that somewhere out there, there are hordes of physicists, mathematicians programmer and engineers, all working tediously to add this A-G radar feature.
  24. You are missing the point here. I do enjoy the game, it's fun & realistic and I do not regret buying it. However, I was expecting more. I think each model here should be treated as a product and if this is the case than they are all defected and the repair time is taking too long. If you had a similar, working, product you'd be buying it instead. BUT, you don't and this is why they allow themselves to sell half baked products and through promises for and A-G radar for 5 years. This is a GAME and the A-G radar is part of this GAME. It does not take so long to develop it IF you put your resources to it. It will never, ever be real nor will you be able to tell the difference from the real radar. People here are so protective as if someone is hurting their children.
  25. Is the F-15 early access too? Is the F-18, Mig-29, A-10... Do they have A-G radar ?!
