  1. no - i always get it right in the 'other' sim... does it work for you?
  2. How do I use LGBs? Hi, I know the TGP is not really ready yet but in this clip: He does hit the target. I have laser ON Master ARM ON CCRP Point track Laset freq. 1688 I laser manually before impact No clouds and i a still miss. Any ideas or is it simply not ready yet?
  3. Hi, Do the external lights work in this model? Taxi Formation Landing etc.
  4. I am trying to turn it on in these modes but i can't? It is working yet, or not yet?
  5. Thanks - i do see the "flame" therefore i believe AB is working. I wander why is there such a big difference between bms and dcs. in bms, with AB fuel flow is in the 40,000 range where as in dcs it is ~19,000
  6. I don't follow... I'm new to DCS. What is the fingerlifts option - could not find any reference to it in the doc or controller options. I tried the afterburner detent option and it did not make any difference for me. At full throttle, when i take off, fuel flow is around 11000 and rmp is %100. Without this option (always off) i can get to 19000. 19000 is still too low for the f16 AB from other simulator i played (should be ~40000 !) In which rmp gets above %100 when AB is engaged. If the afterburner detent option does it than how do i set the MIL position?
  7. it doesn't... in another simulator i use (bms) you can set. on the throttle, when the afterburner will start working. I also see that the fuel flow, as you implied , significantly increases there and rmp reached %120 However, in DCS max rpm is %100 and fuel flow does not significantly increase (for me) when i put the x56 throttle in it's max fwd position. So how do i set the MIL position of the throttle?
  8. How do you enable/use the after burner? I push the throttle all the way and it does not turn on. RMP does not go above %100 i do not have any dead zones on my x56 throttle
  9. Hi, I have Logitech X56 and I can't use the after burner. With throttle at full i only get %100 rmp and fuel flow does NOT significantly increases. How do you enable/use the after burner? There is an option regarding afterburner detent under the F-16 special options but I do not know what it does and whether it applies to my Logitech X56 controller Dan
  10. Hi, I was actually looking for a weapon reference to choose the right weapons for the mission. e.g. if i have to choose between AGM-65 D or G i was looking for a short description of each munition type/purpose/characteristics etc.
  11. Yes i can see that. I meant reference as an explanation of the weapons/missiles/abilities etc/ e.g. BGU-31 beeing JDAM, war hear, purpose, weight etc.
  12. Thanks, And regarding the payload, is there a reference for DCS payloads in the game?
  13. Hi, Where can i find reference for the various payloads of the F16 in DCS? Also is there a "fuel calculator" in DCS which helps me decide the required external tanks to carry before starting a mission? Dan
  14. i can but this button is mode selected
  15. Thanks, Yes the X56 switches are momentary switches. BTW, I could not find any Pinky switch which changes FOV in many scenarios. e.g. narrow/wide FOV for the TGP. I currently set it to LMFD OSB#3 but this will not work for the RMFD
  16. Hi, I'm new to dcs (coming from bms...) What are the "special for joystick buttons?" I tried to assign them to a specific key on my X56 controller. e.g. AutoPiolot ROLL Switch - HDG SEL/ALT HOLD. It really forces me to hold my key pressed and when i release it goes back to it middle neutral position. So what is the use of it - this button should be toggled and not held. What do these "special for joystick" button actually do? Thanks
  17. Hi, Is there a key binding for next/previous waypoints for the F16? I could not find it and i'd like to map is to my X56 stick. I usually play BMS and find this very helpful. Dan
  18. Zoso published this: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=250778&highlight=x56
  19. I have several questions: 1. how do you program/define first&second trigger detent? do you use a modifier/combination for that? 2. Is there a special key for resetting tracIR view? Dan
  20. no, it does not. it needs to show the pressed alt still. each alt+' is a new command
  21. Hi there Is there a profile i can download for the viper for the x56?
  22. Hi, I am trying to program a button on the X56 to do "SimHsiCourseInc": ALT+; I want it to do the following: Short press: single ATL+;. Long press it, I want it to initiate multiple ALT+;, ALT+;, ALT+;..... This should be done using advanced command and i use the command shown in the attached image. The short press is working fine, however the long press does not: Testing the short press in the profile yields this:Alt;;Alt Testing the long press yield this: ALT; ;;;;;;;;;; ;Alt How can I program it to yield Alt; Atl; Atl;...Alt; whne i long press it ?

  24. Hi, I'm quite new to DCS (been playing BMS for years though). Will there be a profile for the X56 , "shipping" with the F16 or will I need to create my own?
