  1. the model is very smooth. but it has already 20.000 polys. i appreciate that the finished one will be at something around 25.000.i can change the number of polys but the result isnt the same as in the next pics so i prefere to have a 25.000 polys finished model without the damaged one. is it fine with you guys?
  2. yes but very slow. the 3d is modeled from the start and i used many blueprints to match the real model. the wings and the rest of the parts ill use them from tomcatz so only the main body is to be finished and mapped. this is how it looks.

  7. i think i changed that. ask tomcatz for some late pics..the only thing i dont like at the model is the point where the canopy touches the fuselage...in rest you will see the difference. dont look at the pics i put here because the model looks different now
  8. ok, i finished the 3d model and sent it to Tomcatz. after remaping it youll be able to play the best f-16 mod :) the shape is totally reworked so it doesnt look like in previous pics. it may not be as detailed as blaze f-16 but the shape is definitely the f-16 and is very smooth at a low number of polys. in time some new details could be added to make it look even better..
  9. agg, i checked the f-16 profiles with ones from real photos and they match perfectly. can you tell me what doesnt look like real jet?

  13. ok, final touches.. tom, i like your skins more than ed's..but its not my choice, you decide which ones you will use next.. the model is 15800 polys now, and i can reduce the number even more without being viewable..this will take a day more. i changed some values at the body material and it looks more like metal. i didnt succeed to keep the cockpitt glass color. dont know why but when i set the material as the glass canopy it allways looks like in the next pictures, same color, same opacity no matter what settings are... about that polish f-16(dont know what block is), i like it and i may do it but next year, january maybe...and the single command version because at the double is much work to do..
  14. almost finished the retouch. tomorrow ill send the model to Tomcatz to finish it. Tomcatz... sorry man but the main body has to be remapped. the rest of the textures are intact and no animation modified.. thank you for this collaboration. i put here some pics..
  15. good models can be done with 15k polys... my iar-93 is almost 17k and the f-16 modified from tomcatz is 16k and both look smooth. all that counts is the modeling tehnique and the skills..

  17. hi man. i make a proposal for you. your f-16 has potential. it looks very good overall but if you agree to send me your 3d model to make a retouch i promise you it will look far better than crow's f-16. i will work only at the 3d because i can work very fast and after max 2 days ill send it back to you to release it. what do you think?
  18. why? isnt any possibility to convince the guy? an exchange or something. one of my models for that f-16. something its weird... the cockpit glass looks too realistic...it looks like it has hdri map, thing that its not possible in lock on. blaze, if you have thye 3d model can you tell me what settings used crow for each material of the plane( glass, body and exhaust tips)? One more question... what happens if i set the diffuse map to the specular and glossiness?is the sim able to recognize them? because in 3d max the visual effect is huge and it looks like crow's f-16 model

  21. ok, i put them here for those who need them... the templates dont have the scratches i used in my lancers mod.. its only dirt...for the scratches i can make another pack but i see them only in romanian lancers... http://rapidshare.com/files/321128526/mig_21_dirt_templates.rar i forgot to tell you that for more accentuated dirt you can modify the opacity in each layer. those settings are the ones i used for my lancers...

  23. kuky, i think thats the best way.. orao is as fast as the su-25(maybe a little faster and still subsonic) but alot more maneuvrable. i think the unused entry its great..
