if he modifies mfds then he can add new ones too i suppose.so new cockpits can be added in the game. Yoda, can you figure this out?

nobody didn't explain to me what does this utility do. in usual words, as for a begginer. does it create new functional cockpits for lock-on?

ok, i didnt understand a word. too technical for me. what you are trying to say is that its possible to add new cockpits in lock on?(functional cockpits)?

i played this mod and as it is very obvious in the screens too, the nose and the front side of the cockpit is built totally wrong...too bad because the rest of it looks very nice and detailed.i don't know if it's something to be done at this stage but it doesn't look as the real one...

hi all. i'm making a mod for the RoAF's mig23 but it seems i can't find where to delete the russian flags from...the thing is that the flags are not part of the texture, so maybe someone knows where to deactivate them, to not be displayed ... another problem is with the red number and i have 2 choices: not to display it or change its color, but i don't know how... anyone?

CDDS explorer doesn't allow me to import some reworked textures in lomac.it gives me the next message: "width or height or DXT format don't match original texture". the only thing i did was to extract the file and add a texture over the old one.the format is still the same(1024x1024) as the old 1 but my new DDS file is 640Kb and the original is 512 Kb.Is this the problem? If yes , what can i do to keep the original size? the second problem i have is with tomcatz's "ground crew" mod.i installed it but don't know how to use it(instructions in german).i saw only 4-5 static crew members on an airport, not even close to the movie on youtube (the one with the AdA mod), which has 4-5 members on a singular plane, and they move all around.any help please?

i have a problem with modman. i want to insert a texture in a DDS format using CDDS explorer and i get the next message: "width or height or DXT format don't match original texture". what does it mean and what to do to make it work?

is there any possibility to find out where are the cockpits assigned to each plane? i'm planing to change a cockpit from a plane to another... the real thing i want to do is to add a new cockpit made by me in lock on without changing existing ones...why?because i want to add new planes making the non flyable to fly and replacing them with new models...the problem is that they use su-27 cockpit. so if i make a new cockpit and assign it to the plane i created i have a new plane, with its real cockpit without affecting any existing flyable plane in lomac...

i can't wait to play it!!!! it is so representative for my country... i plan to release a mod including the RoAF's mig21 lancer and mig23 using the mig29A for both of them.of course after the iar93...

can i add my model on the same spot with su-25 keeping both of them like i saw someone did on gripen mod, he added 2 models gripen simple and gripen double...? if yes...can i do the same think with the cockpits?add another cockpit and keep su's one too?

this mod is great. some issues it has make it not be excellent.1) the first very bad issue is that when i fly the mig29 i can see outside the cockpit some polys from the gripen, so i can't fly visually... 2) the draggin shute is missing even it is remaining on the runway ... 3) mig's cockpit, now i saw some time ago some person that retextured a su27 cockpit changing it for the f-14...i wonder if its possible to do what you did (place two planes on a spot, gripenC and D) with the cockpits...keep the original one for the mig and retexture it for the gripen as the second one, using it only when flyin gripen...

i have a problem with the nose flippers. as you can see some models have them, some models not. what to do? add them ore leave the nose clear? kuky's sixth pic with the orao in the museum has a very good angle from above to see them better...

i can go under 35000 polys easyly. my problems are the next ones: pilot-actually has 8000 polys(need to remake it or borrow one)and the wheels-13000 polys(remained unchanged since the model was a high poly one), so the final model will have max 35000 polys and the same smoothness as it has now.i think it's a good report of smoothness/no of polys...

now , i'd like this mig to be a modernised one. i found on wikipedia that the mig-21 lancer or the mig-21 bison can carry r-73, r-27R, r-27T and r-77(even though i didn't hear it to be in RoAF's invent, they say the platform is compatible with the missile). i hope you will choose this ones to give the mig a chance in the combat...

what can i say...evrything happenin in romania is sad.the air force is better called grounded force.only 48 migs(lancers) and 24 iar-99 still flyin, all of them in a bad shape, ready to join the iar-93s cementery.the good days of the military flight have lapsed long time ago when we passed from comunism 2 capitalism; capitalism that brought the freedom, freedom to steal the funds for everything, including the ones 4 maintaining iar-93 fleet that was in '98(year of retireing) at its midlife time.again, sad.don't look at those pics anymore.try the ones from INCAS. http://www.incas.ro/english/index_eng.html

its a bit difficult with the 2 plans for a singular plane developed by 2 countries that gave it particular details each...i have the plans of the iar-93 and it has that pointy nose bent...now, i see that ex Yugoslavian AF added a straight one...i'll keep rom 1.about the pylons..i don't have a good angle to see exactly how it looks.if you can help me i apreciate it

i finished the airbrakes, finished with the back wings, they can move now, and added the hole for the guns.minor details left to do... p.s. the tail vertical wing modified..

for galeb you have 2 pay me:lol:, since i'm romanian, galeb is not in RoAF inventory..iar-99 has more chances to be donebut even it has to wait because i want the second one to be rafale.
