  1. is this hornet released as a mod? it's looking good
  2. blaze what texture do you use for the canopy glass? can you send it to me because it looks good
  3. as soon as i be able i'll put some screens for each model, so in max 4-5 days you will have them as i borrow a v.card from a friend
  4. hi guys. as i'm not capable to buy me a decent video card, because i don't have the money, i was thinking to sale my 3d models to earn a sum for the card. this will not conditionate the release of the mods i have worked at, but it will be even an advantage because who buys a 3d model will be capable to release faster a mod for fc2, or dcs, or be able to make a mod for flight sim. of the models i made, you know them and you can choose any of them, iar-93 orao, f-16, an-26, mig-23 and mig-21.some of this models are not finished but have a good quality and their price will be lower for them. i also made a high poly f-14 tomcat. Initially i didn't think about selling them but as the crysis hit us i have no alternative.thank you for understanding
  5. @beczl i can't send my dirtpack to you at the moment, as i don't have a video card on my good computer. if anyone has the dirtpack i made for beczl's mig-21 please send it to beczl to use it on its skins.
  6. can you make it replace the su-17?
  7. beczl you can use my dirtpack for your skins mod. if you don't have it, let me know
  8. yes i didfinish them, but for me...i will release them when i'll feel ready to do it, and i worked my models with meshsmooth and all my models are lower than 20000 polys. the thing for releasing my mods is the next one. one year ago i asked for a f-16, blaze's one and no one wanted to give it to me too even i've seen there are many persons who had it. now i have mine.
  9. and i'm sure you don't control it, in other words you don't know its hidden advantages. the truth is there are few persons who really know how to use it just because it's difficult to understand it. it took me a year and a half to find out how to mak it accurate and even now i can't state i'm an expert. the high poly-count has nothing to do with meshsmooth and before you say something about anything you must know what are you talking about. it's not lazy and you must know that all the experts use it, and only the good ones, and for example, look here: http://www.military-meshes.com/forums/ do you think all these guys are lazy? i'm sure you can't touch their level in modeling. and of what i know, meshsmooth is the best way to count and control the number of polys, but i won't teach you how.
  10. using 3ds max with meshsmooth is the best way to model in general but,the problem is to know how to use it because is prety difficult. when you create so many details and you use meshsmooth you'll definitely have some shape errors. you see, you have to be smart and create the general shape using meshsmooth and after that you can add details modeled without ms, manually, for example the gear doors i cut them from the general shape and this way you won't see any line of joint. else, and this is my personal opinion, the look will be distorted. @59th Reaper-i wrote all these things because i see the same problem at this model too. well, you have very nice details, and this adds some realism to the model but i've seen some pics before and you have some serious errors at the shape, below between the engines, above at the hunchback, air intakes. the line must be coursive and to me it doesn't seems to be.. yet, i may be wrong. can you put a whire render with the plane, this way we'll see if there's any error in modeling.
  11. i didn't work at this one anymore because i don't have a video card from 2 weeks ago. it's burnt and until i have the money to buy a new one i will only be able to chat here on the forum from a friend's computer.
  12. oh, ok. didn't think you grouped some parts. then, you're right..
  13. beczl think at my offer. it would look even better and without modifying textures, animations, damage model or anything else. and because it's just a small modify it wouldn't last more than 2-3 days, it's a promise. nothing to loose, the best looking to win...
  14. i know how to do it but i prefere to release it without vapor effects because it'll take longer to make them
  15. the model is made for fc2. i don't know when it'll be finished because when i want to work something else happens and i don't have the time for it. the mod will be named f-16 A/AM and will include both models A and MLU. later i will release the F-16C mod which will be a separate mod that will include cft's.the release of the f-16C will depend of you because i won't work its skins.so if you(anyone) make about 10-15 skins for the f-16C i will release it as soon as possible. you are free to use my mod as you want
  16. reworked some details
  17. some screens ,2 of my skins...i have a problem with argument 77.the mlu tail appears at other models that i want and when i takeoff, land or taxi the mlu tail alternates the f16A tail very fast until i stop the plane. some hints?
  18. texture corrections can be added later. most important is to let him finish the way he can and after he release it, we(everybody) can detail the textures. i think this is the best way. i think i'll do the same with my f-16 mod which is finished but i'm not happy with the textures. i'll probably release it the way it is and hope somebody will add some details because i just can't work at it anymore, it lasts too long
  19. of what i've tried before, you can make a separate max scene with a part of your model and map it there add materials and everything you want, and then import it in the proper scene. this way you have unlimited number of materials. for example, i made my landing gear in a separate max scene from the jet. after i animated it and add materials i imported the landing gear scene in the f-16 original scene. this way i kept my 24 material spots from the f-16 scene free for the rest of model
  20. it's great but instead of using il2 textures you can use real ones directly from the google map for a better result, my opinion
  21. but if you delete a 3d cockpit and add a new one and place it in the right place, doesn't the HUD remain from the old one? and the MFD too?
  22. if you don't see the texture it may be because you made a .jpeg texture. it only works with tga and bmp files.if you don't choose in max what type of material to be, it will be a standard one from default, but it has to be written in the .skins file that's a standard one
  23. that's woooow. btw, you can add a version of su-37 or 35. it's a small difference between them and su-33
  24. stunning! you've created some very realistic skins and ground textures match very nice real european land. are you interested in detailing some f-16 skins for my mod? if yes, i'll send you my templates.ty
