No, at the top of the HUD ( or mabye it's the bottom) there is a vertical bar, like a capital I that is on the compass. It corresponds with the heading hold setting but at the very start, the bar will be on the first waypoint heading ( on compass on 350, for example) . I hope I am making sense :P

Sorry, i know this has been asked before but I can't find anything on it. At startup, there is a llittle line on the HUD compass that points to the first waypoint, yet if I trim or press SUSP to select the next waypoint, it dissappears. Is there a way to permanently have this pointing at the next waypoint? And am i doing the right thing in pressing SUSP? Thanks Warbird

I do see your point, but looking through the sticky thread to find a mission would be so much easier if they were laid? layed? out on a single page ( ie withou having to scroll down) and having them in categories would make it much more user friendly

This isn't exactly at a glance stuff. Say I wanted a mission that takes 10-20 minutes, without combat but with the oppurtunity to fire weapons etc etc. there isn#t enough detail

I mean a section within the forum with an easily browsable section for missions, with thumbnails for campaigns and missions and a category based menu sort of thing. I haven't actually though about it that much, but I just think at the moment many many great missions have been lost in time because they don't have many posts in their thread. ACtually, I've just thought of a better example. Same section as above, but with a thumbnail for 'training missions', 'non-combat missions' , 'counter insurgency missions' etc etc

I think there should be a new area for missions, without any spam or reviews etc, just a place with a short description where you can browse easily

I think the problem here is that many people simply don't have the time to make missions with complex triggers etc and explore every function of the KA. If you like to accurately replicate every RL procedure then fine, but I'd say the majority of gamers, whilst interested in the flying bought this for combat, and I think the general consensus is the combat capability ( of the sim not the KA-50) is a bit limited, without more intelligent AI etc etc

I know what you mean but my problem is that a 20 minute mission like that would take a good hour to set up, and I'd prefer to have a bit more playing. BTW I love Falcon 4! Brilliant game!
