  1. :helpsmilie: Is the ADF working in patch 1.0.1? If so, what's the trick. I've followed the manual instructions with no result. Thanks
  2. After pressing "W", add a very small amount of power, wiggle the rudder from side to side and add forward stick. That will allow the nose wheel to straighten as it is sometimes cocked, lighten the machine on the gear and give the cyclic controls more authority for taxing.
  3. I'm running BS1.1 using Voice Activated Commands and TrackIR 5. Everything works well together. I would like to be able to use a voice command to pause TrackIR. If I assign the pause function to a key in TrackIR, then assign that key to a voice command in Voice Activated Commands, it all works. But, the original BS key assignment also executes. For example, if I assign the F key to pause TrackIR it will also execute the BS Collective Brake function. Is there a way to reassign BS key functions to eliminate that dual command execution? Thanks
  4. That is the complete mod that I downloaded. BS 1.0.1 had terrible night vision display problems and that mod corrected them. I don't know if those display problems were corrected in later versions, or if Crystal Clear is compatable with BS2. Perhaps someone else here knows. Good luck. ADDED NOTE: Sorry, I misunderstood your question. If the pathes are the same in BS2 as BS1, then just copy the file NV_P.DAT to the location indicated in the Bazer folder. Backup the original file first, just in case it doesn't work.
  5. You didn't say which version of BS you have. The mod, Crystal_Clear_NVG_V2, makes a huge difference in the clarity of night vision. The file is located somewhere on this form, but I couldn't find it. So attached is my copy. Crystal_Clear_NVG_V2.rar
  6. The [backspace] key unlocks targets.
  7. You didn't state which version you're using. But, generally, you have to assign targets and weapons to them using the Targeting and Weapons buttons in the editor.
  8. I assume you were able to insert your own playlist in BS 1. How did you do that? Thanks
  9. That's true. And very funny. :D:D:D:D
  10. I think there are people like myself who keep BS1, or who will buy it, because the bugs are out of it and its been patched to the point where it just runs reliably; which is something BS2 is still a long way from achieving.
  11. Thanks Slayer, Just what I was looking for.
  12. The above methods work with BS 1.0.1. Razor's suggestion adjusts head height. But, it's not sticky. These are very useful settings. Where did you boys get this info?
  13. In BS1, try locking a target yourself and then telling your wingman to, "Engage my target". Once he acknowledges, you can unlock that target and look for others. Watch your wingman. If he starts to fly too close to the target, tell him to "Rejoin". He will break off and rejoin. When he's out of danger, repeat the above. It's slow, but it keeps your wingman alive longer and makes him more useful. With very dangerous targets, I assign it to my wingman, as above, and then fly a simutaneous offset attack. That seems to confuse the target and cause a delay in firing at us. Most times one of use gets a kill and we both live. It works for me, most of time.
  14. I forgot to mention that I'm running BS 1 with patch 1.0.1. When I start BS I get an error message saying that the (filename).LUA minizip is missing. The filename changes with each loading and BS fails to start. All of the Modded ME files are then listed in the error message.
  15. Sorry if I missed this here or somewhere else. Is there a way to install this Modded ME manually, other than copying directly? I've tried several times and always get error messages that some files are missing when I start BS. I can't find my note with the file names, but they seem to be mission editor files. Thanks.
  16. Anyone, In the BS 1.0.1 GOW mission ATO-C-P2.4.MIZ the object is to fly to two waypoints. When within each waypoint zone a score is added via the "unit inside zone". However, the zone score goes back to zero when you leave the zone. How can I make the score stick when I leave a zone so that it adds to the total mission score?:helpsmilie: Thanks
  17. Taipan, I manually installed your AI Wingman Survival Mod in the original Black Shark, patch 1.01. It improved AI behavior quite a bit. No ill effects. This is a very good and badly needed mod. Thank you.
  18. In the last mission in Georgian Havoc, Battle for Batumi, how do you get back to Senaki without getting shot down? I managed to do it in version 1, but can't do it in 1.1. Thanks
  19. Finished the 1.1 campaign under patch 1.1. All missions ran perfectly. Thanks for taking the time to make the changes. My only comment on the downside is that the fog is too dense in the Anty Artsy mission. I reduced the density to (1), which made it playable.
  20. I've found that I can often evade detection and also confuse sams by hiding behind high tension lines and thier towers. This lets me get within cannon range of shilkas and sam sites. Even incoming missles seem to be confused by the wires and towers. Anyone else notice this? And, would that be the case in the real world?
  21. Nice mission and it works fine under Patch 1.0.1. I added a secondary target, the radio mast at the lake southeast of the the FARP (Attached file). Picking your way through the sam's adds a little intrigue to the mission. Use it as your own. Poti_001_CoastRunners_added.miz
  22. Problem solved.
  23. This is an excellent campaign. Very creative story and unique missions that challenge the players pilotage, fuel management and navigation skills. My only dislike was that some of the bad weather would scrub a mission in real life. Other than that, well done.
  24. Thanks Ripcord. I appreciate the offer. I've been using the Google Translator, as Zoomboy27 suggested. That has been a great help. I'm getting better at figuring out unfamiliar grammer and word usage. Sometimes I have to do the read, fly, read again dance to grasp the meaning of the text. But, it's going well and I'm making progress in the campaign.
  25. I may have missed something in the Mission Editor Guide. Can you tell me specifically how to do this? Disregard the above. I found that highlighting the desired text and pressing the [Ctrl]+[C] keys copies the text to the buffer. It can then be pasted into any word processor or online translator. Thanks all for the help.
