  1. Hi, I am generating my first mission and have hit a problem. My flight takes off from Batumi airfield which is under attack. The airfield is eventually over run and I have to divert to a fallback FARP to re-arm and refuel. The problem I am having it that I can rearm/refuel/repair at the FARP no problem. (all required units present and correct) However I cannot do any of the above at the startup airfield. (Even before the attack has started.) The manual says that as long as the control tower is OK, there should be no problem. Well even before a single shot has been fired there is no response from the tower or maintenance crew. What have I done wrong? Any pointers would be gratefully recieved. EDIT: I seem to have found the problem. I have several hostile MANPAD teams dotted around the airfield which are only activated when a blackhawk does a slow pass over the airfield (dropping special forces). However thede 'inactive' forces seem to stop me from rearming/refueling. If I delete them then there is no problem. It seems that the airfield is considered in enemy hands even though the units havent been activated yet. Any comments or ways around this? Cheers Tom
  2. Hi, I'm currently trying to get to terms with the datalink/wingman commands. However I am stuck on this little problem. When I designate a target point using the SHVAL into the PVI800 and the upload it to the wingman and order him to fly to destination, he dutifully flys to the designated point then, when he gets there he buggers off in the the great unknown. What I want him to do is to hold at the position specified. untill I give him further orders. What am I missing as currently the winmen are a pain in the A$$ Cheers Tom
  3. Hi could someone explain how to use the save view key combination, I am after a way of setting up different views assigned to keypresses, ie a zoomed view of the ABRIS, and another of the SHVAL. Cheers Tom
  4. Hi, here's a stupid question for you, how can you set up a server to play a multiplayer campaign. I have hosted several multiplayer missions and that works really well. However I downloaded the Dogs of War' campaign. But for the life of me I can't see how to select the campaign in the multiplayer interface, you only get the option to select missions. I assume there is not branching dependant on mission success/failure in multiplayer missions, Anyone... Cheers Tom
  5. Bug in ATO S3.3 CSAR Hi in the CSAR mission the the location of the missing pilot comes over the radio as 'Latitude: 42 degrees, 57,5 minutes North, Longitude: 42 degrees, 19,0 minutes East.' however The real co-ords should be Latitude: 41 degrees, 57,5 minutes North,Longitude: 42 degrees, 19,0 minutes East.' The only way to find the downed pilot is to follow the Mi8 Apart from that it a great campaign Cheers Tom
  6. Interesting, however this brings up my earlier question. How do you determine what is the correct location to do the update? Unless the briefing screens show a picture of a particular terrain feature the only clue you get is a large blue dot on the ABRIS, which may or may not be in the correct position anyway (due to degraded GPS). Cheers Tom
  7. I also have problems with this, not the same problems as the original poster as I understand which buttons to press, however how do you identify WHERE to perform the fix, The ECRAN tells you thet you are near a fix point but as far as I can see the briefing notes in the included missions fail to show a picture of the bridge/lake/powerstation to let you know what feature to perform the fix over. How do you decide where to fix in the included missions? Cheers Tom
