Yeah, your CPU needs some work, your card is fine. But IF you do have to upgrade (because it eats at you) then the HD 5770 is a fine choice.

Apparently when my friends went to see "The Day the Earth Stood Still" (08 edition btw) they saw that the drones were controlled by the same flight sticks as mine... just not lighted up in the movie, needless to say I was awesome for about a week.:pilotfly::joystick:

Um I'm not an expert in fuel managment or anything of that nature, but I'm pretty shure that a F-15 (IN LOCKON) carries more fuel than the MiG-29A, G, or C... Even if you put less internal fuel to lighten you (making you more manouverable) putting on CFT's should make up for that and when dropped gives you extra Liposuction (;))...... Or were you just on FULL AFTERBURNER THE ENTIRE TIME:joystick::joystick::joystick:. Yeah I've done that before too.

You should definitally upgrade to Windows 7 HP because I don't see any more reasons for the more expensive editions... IMHO you can game and do everything else on HP just fine. :)

Go for it I have the same version and loves it! Win7 HP 64bit FTW! (And I've hated all the previous Windows versions at first, even XP. But not this one I love it with a passion... well maybe not that much but you get the idea.)

Well without the HD 5770 and the extra 4 gigs of RAM ( I got the HD 5770 and it was DOA:cry:, RAM is on the way now) Rightnow with the 4 gigs ddr2 and the Phenom II X4 955 BE I get an average of 40+ FPS on all high settings WITHOUT the vid card on LO:FC ver 1.12b. FSX I average 30, but on medium and some low settings. I don't have DCS:BS so I can't say much on that, but I'm guessing I'll get higher FPS b/c it runs better so I hear. My real goal is to be able to play ARMA 2 Maxed out with a nice frame rate. :joystick::joystick::joystick::thumbup:
