I was able to play A-10C for the first time online about a week ago. My buddy and I are both pilots in real life and have flown everything from J3 cubs - 747s. This sim is awesome! However there are a few areas that could be tweaked. Now the two of us are just getting started here with this amazing sim and neither of us flew the A-10 but have friends that do. The landing roll out: We both noticed that we chew up huge amounts of runway on landing. There is a bit of iceskating rink feeling. Flaming cliffs had the same problem with the SU-25T. We also notice this in the yaw while rolling out if you put a little rudder. Now this side action dew to rudder/ nose wheel steering could be my joystick and curves. The point of all this is the tires should grab a little better with reguards to sideload to prevent side skidding. Also the brakes should be more effective. In real airplanes you can honk on the peddles harder if need be. He and I are just using the W key. So maybe this is the problem. Reguardless with steady braking a jet like the A-10 should not eat up more than half the runway. The only aircraft I've flown that could chew up runway because of weak brakes was the Lear 60. I'm not trying to being critical I just want this sim to be more realistic in this area.

AMD 64 x2 dual core 6300 3.20 ghz 2 gb ram 32-bit vista operating system Geforce 8800 I've noticed that I have trouble with the training missions loading. I am able to buzz around in other missions at medium with heat blur. Help me out here. Can I get by with what I have or do I need to upgrade everything or just somethings. Thanks. Also, where is the best place to buy a thustmaster A-10 and stick and throttle? Please give me your middle of the road upgrade ideas. Thanks

I hear yah but the F-16 makes more sense from a financial point of veiw. Plus these were cockpit pictures from them from a while back. Sure looks like a lot of work has already been done.

I can't seem to get the F7 menu to open when I want to re fuel or re-arm. I'll land at my base, shut the engines off, press the \ key to open up the menu. I see maintance (f7) but it never opens up when I press F7. It's like the link is dead. I can't do it in campaign, multi player or any other mode. What is wrong here? Any help would awesome! Do I need to set some keys or something? Thanks

Huh, I have never heard this and I have been flyng for years. I'm not tryng to make you wrong. Just get an IR track and I think you problems will be solved. Keep in mind this is a game it will never be like sitting in a real aircraft.

Will we be able to see around the seat and look between the tails or into the engine inlet with an IR track? Thx

From the sidelines here. I think you guys are blowing this way out of proportion. I read the reveiw and I never took his comment so literally. In that, ED would do one thing or the other. He for the most part wrote a good review for the game. I think those that read your reactions to him .........might think your bulling him. He asked for help to make it more accurate...........instead you attack him and threaten him with "illegal" this and that. Yes he should have e-mail you to get some answers to deeper questions. His next review of the A-10C may not be so nice. As a customer I'm disgusted with how you've handled this on public forum.

Wags, Thanks for the update. Wags has the A-10 model been updated since ED has made this A-10C sim for the military? For BS that is. I'm just talking about the external model only. Also, will there ever be heat blur on the helos? Great work guys. K-Roll

I was buzzing around on goggle earth and I noticed that Saki has a ski jump and a mock carrier landing strip. It would be cool if someday ED could add these features to the airfield. Check it out.

Did anyone notice the pilots in the twin cobra are twins? I thought the military didn't let brothers serve together. ;) Looks awesome! I'd like to fly that Cobra someday.

Olgerd/ Chizh, Can you guys tell us whats after BS. Is it a A-10, Su-25T, and two choppers game or will it be the F-16? Are you guys currently working on more titles than BS? (the f-16 one) Thx Kroll

Well for some reason starforce can't find my disk in my cd drive. Then it eventually freezes up my computor. Theres no way of getting out other than pressing the reset button. I don't have a lot of time and I'm at my witts end with this. I've quickly looked over starforce problems but don't see my prob. I have never had a problem with any other game and I not using a CD-W. Please help.....I'm about to pull the plug on this one and take her back to BB.
