I'm having the exact same issue as RedShoes ie constant, persistent and fatal game freezes. I've only encountered this problem when running triple screens and I can confirm like you RedShoes, that freeze occurs always when moving head position is relatively extreme (like when checking six). After the freeze I have to quit via TaskManager. Problem is same between Normandy\NTTR. I've repaired\reinstalled DCS (many times). I've experimented with pagefile and ram type and size. I've tried old ssd's, new ssd, even an M.2 drive. I've reinstalled windows, I've deleted config. I've spent hours and hours on this forum (and facebook, youtube et al) trying various screwball tweaks and "fixes" including but not limited to removing HDMI sound drivers, uninstalling shadowplay etc. I've really not wanted to bother ED with this (what with the early access and all) but it's so disheartening to see that no ED employee has made any contribution to this thread. Not even a single acknowledgement. I've spent months in testing (all my spare time) and I'm just crawling around in the dark. I've invested a lot in DCS 2. I'm so disheartened I'm researching refunds now. i7 4790k, MSI Z97 Gaming 9 AC, 16gb Corsair Vengeance 1600, MSI GTX 1070 Armor, Samsung 960 Evo M.2 ssd.

Can anyone tell me how to zoom out in cockpit view when using trackir. I'm flying with my nose up on the HUD and the keyboard mappings for zooming in and out won't work whilst trackir is running. It's ruining an otherwise mind scrambling experience. I've had an hour on the forum lookin about cos i'm sure i found something related the otherday. BUt once again my failure to use the bookmark button is making me pay. I'm sure this must be a common problem. yours hopefully kMedicne

Hey there community. I'm trying to create a skin in DCS for the first time. I got an excellent guide from the forum but right now, i'm stuck. I'm trying to create a .lma7 file. I used the template from modman, edited it and now i'm tryin to use mod maker to put everything together. Modmaker doesn't seem to recognise my lma7 file. I saved it as a txt file and ive save it as a lma7 (added the extension myself). Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong? Please help, i miss actually flying the shark. kM

Is it true that i need a copy of LockOn and flaming cliffs 1 to run flaming cliffs 2? Or is having a copy of LockOn enough? kMeddlesome

Can anyone help me with SAM placement? What are the factors i need to be aware of when trying to recreate them believably. Obviously, i would expect it to be different for different systems but is the ME that sophisticated? My mission creation is getting better but so far, i'm let down by the SAM's relutance to fire. The secrect is to create light by destroying buildings near to targets. This enables the laser targeting system to work better allowing you to send\receive more data between you and your wingman. If someone can tell me how to stop the wingman from flying too close to targets i'd much appreciate it. kMedicine
