Not exactly correct (or same if using this video as a reference). There is small arrow above diamond (can be seen 0:54) which would help clearing the confusion of mixing diamond with the box.

Attached registry key allows to map x-52 ministick as X/Y axis in DCS. Be aware that after merging this registry key a new X52 profile will be created in "C:\Users\<User>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\<module>\joystick" with different name "Saitek X52 Flight Controller {xxx}" instead of "Saitek X52 Flight Control System {xxx}" which contains your previous keymapping setup. You can just copy content of old file to a new one or rename the file. You will have to do that for each module (plane). I suggest to backup Config\Input folder to avoid mixing up the files. x52_ministick.zip

I was getting "no internet connection" message while trying to login. Neither router, nor firewall was causing this. I got windows 10 latest cumulative update two days ago and since then couldn't login. Apparently missing (wrong?) certificate was an issue ( wireshark was showing that tls connection request is dropped while trying to login). I have exported "VeriSignClass3PublicPrimaryCertificationAuthority-G5" from firefox and imported to "internet options" through control panel. Now connection works again and I can login to DCS MP.

Anyone else frustrated regarding high altitude fully loaded stability/performance? Stability system seems to not help(although it tries and makes it worse - makes the movement slower to react but will let you reach high AoA). While turning the plane will reach 30+ AoA, stall and fall like a brick, also will let pitch the nose down to fall on your back. The plane is yawing, bouncing and dutch rolling. Generally its the same instability like at low altitudes but multiplied a few times + ability to reach very high AoA without using the "S". Is it normal behavior? Edit: Y axis is very unstable with 50% fuel + full missile load, taking 100% makes Y axis more stable, must be CoG? But still should stability system preserve from entering cobra like AoA at high altitudes?

That is true, however F15 felt better i would say. Yawing and rolling to sides (even without high AoA) was the most annoying. Though F15 still enters roll at high AoA if you reach that (pitch control off). I was expecting to see new AFM close to release, but I am wrong :)

FM feels slow to react, very inertive nose, hard to perform quick and snappy movements. Also quite unstable/wobbly, sensitive controls making hard to fly in a straight line (does it have stability control similar to f15, because it feels quite ineffective?). Total opposite of f15 and not really a joy to fly (thought high aoa is fun).

For 8GB ram users read my topic DCS 1.2.6 lag/freezing/fps drop "fix" if you want to fix fps drops without upgrading RAM. SSD isn't even needed to fix it.

I am running windows 8 64bit. Game is installed on secondary partition (D: in my case). My experience on heavy mp missions ( e.g. aerobatics server with 15+ players in same airport): 1.2.5 + 8GB ram + no pagefile = no lag 1.2.5 + 8GB ram + pagefile = a bit slower alt-tab/texture load than with no pagefile 1.2.6 + 8GB ram + pagefile = lag/fps drops 1.2.6 + 8GB ram + no pagefile = even more lag/fps drops + freezes 1.2.6 + 8GB ram + no pagefile + fix = no lag 1.2.6 + 8GB ram + pagefile + fix = haven't tried yet and i don't see a reason to Basically what i think is that DCS 1.2.6 started to use more memory. My machine memory usage started to reach 75% RAM limit therefore more pagefile was used which is the reason for degraded performance.

Hello everyone, since 1.2.6 update DCS started to heavily freeze/lag/sttuter on heavier MP missions also low memory alerts started popping out on my system (8GB ram with pagefile disabled) even though 25% of free memory never gets used (2GB in my case). First thought was that DCS 1.2.6 uses more ram. Enabling pagefile didn't really help, DCS wasn't freezing anymore however switching external views/texture loading was awful slow with huge fps drops (it was the reason i disabled it in the first place before 1.2.6). There is a fix/workaround to let windows use 100% of memory which fixed awful peformance of DCS. I have the same issue. Everytime i zoom in and zoom out i have to reset FOV to widest manually,because it is what i like to use. Thats really unconfortable. Actually i avoided to fly in 104th server since this issue came out. So how about changing defaul FOV to widest in forced views? That would fix this problem. How many pilots like to use default FOV setting (for example tunnel view in su25)?

After installing 10.3 driver youtube videos in fullscreen mode now cause huge artifacts. I am using adoble flash player 10.1 beta which supports hardware acceleration. Non-beta flash player works well, but it doesn't support hardware acceleration.

hello, i see you posted long time ago. Perhaps you already found out what the problem was. I had the same problem. MFD locks up and profile doesnt work anymore after hitting a button/slider/wheel with assigned command through saitek profiler. The problem was the length of the command name in the profile. Looks like you cant set command name longer than 16 symbols otherwise MFD locks up and profile stops working. Perhaps there is a bug or hardware limitation for specific x52 units, because not all units have this problem.

I have Audigy 4. Running windows server 2008 r2. Alchemy works fine, sound is so much better. Alchemy works with both vista and windows 7.
