If you've repeatedly uninstalled and then reinstalled updated drivers over a period of more than 6 months a complete recovery may be in order.

If an enemy like Somalia or Afghanistan got ahold of one they'd have an impossible time utilizing the weapon.

I do it manually all the time except at the end of a long day.

The patch makes DCS Max unecessary now as the 1.0.1 version adjusts the affinity.

I have 2 gigs of the OCZ Gold RAM as mentioned above and got 2 more of some cheaper RAM at similar specs and have no complaints.

Might be the flight stick is configured wrong.

I recover Windows 7 Retail fully activated, Windows XP and the Black Shark game without using an activation in about 30 minutes with a drive image backup. And the entire 26 gigs fit on 2 regular DVDs.

Don't fix it if it isn't broken.

Right. I use it as sort of an autopilot.

Ofcourse always uninstall Nvidia drivers in safe mode and run Driver Sweeper in safe mode right afterwards.

I have to start it up myself and fly on simulation mode.

I see a few skins for the chopper but not near as many as the new patch changelog suggests. Where are they?

Well after "trying" out the game for several months, the patch came out and I went out and bought it Monday. I try games out and if I like them, like I do Black Shark, I buy them. After reading here about the problems people have had with running out of activations, I went to work to prevent being unable to reinstall this game at some time in the future. I used Paragon software to make an image of my hard drive. Twenty six gigs fit on 2 regular DVD writables. So now in about 30 minutes I can fully recover Windows 7 Retail (permanently activated), Windows XP and Black Shark. Even my medals and the options are pre-configured to fly. Also, both partitions are de-fragged after the recovery. The game runs great and I don't have to worry about burning up activations anymore. On top of that I made 3 seperate archives of my drive just in case.
