fixed internally Reactor nozzle heat effect
MelonatorPL replied to Rongor's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi just a small visual bug I found. Looks like the engine's heatblur is a bit too far forward and clips through the fuselage. (Also is it me or does it seem a bit too big) -
Any news on a fix for this?
-
Ok that helps me in understanding it thanks. Ill start using it more similar to how I use the ka50 with trim. I tried this method beofre but I didnt expect it to be the proper way of using it due to the disengagement of the sas system during the press. thx
-
So the issue that I found is that if you press the trimmer and let go while the autopilot is adding a medium to large amount of input the autopilot resets during the press (as it should) and after letting go it goes back to the pre trimmed position causing the nose for example to rise by up to 5 degrees when slowing down. Is the autopilot supposed to stay in the centered position after letting go of the trim and not adding any further input to the controls or is it supposed to do that uncommanded input? @BIGNEWYI suggest that you guys aks your SMEs about this and either confirm it works as expected or it doesn't. ^^^^ Please do

Is there any news about this issue from the devs? Its starting to really annoy me since the autopilots keeps adding uncommanded imputs when trimming.

fixed Lights in Russian if set to English
MelonatorPL replied to MelonatorPL's topic in Bugs and Problems
Yea everything else is in english in the cockpit apart from those lights -
I found an issue with the lights still being in Russian even after the setting is set to English. I think this was a bug before BS3 and these were missed?

Hi I found a glitch where the ABRIS does not reset to track up in nav mode after entering MAP > INFO > then back to NAV. It seems to default to North Up instead. To recreate go to the NAV page, click MAP, then INFO, and then go back to NAV. The aircraft then proceeds to fly sideways on the map instead of up.

reported Mi-24P Deceleration Oscillations
MelonatorPL replied to MelonatorPL's topic in Bugs and Problems
Any updates regarding this issue? How high is this on the priority list of Mi24 bugs? This heli is my favorite module but it has been idle in the hangar due to the annoyance of this issue. Any chance for a reply from one of the devs? Thanks. -
thx

I found a bug where any of the GBU's (10,12,16) have a chance of flying up into either the wing or the fuselage upon release. This occurs even when having 1G flight without pushing down on the stick.

Radar FPS loss, with any state change, only once per state
MelonatorPL replied to MelonatorPL's topic in Bugs and Problems
Below I have attached the track of the FPS issue. I kept moving my head to demonstrate the fps drop. For me this happens in all terrains I own (Caucasus, Marianas, Persian Gulf, and Syria). In this track the radar is set to 60NM and I am targeting an OPFOR Yak40 heading away from me. This does however occur at shorter radar ranges too for me. fpsissue.trk -

Can any developer notify if this issue is being worked on and if you have attempted to replicate this? Please try to fix this as its driving me crazy every time I fly this heli.Thanks. -
reported Mi-24P Deceleration Oscillations
MelonatorPL replied to MelonatorPL's topic in Bugs and Problems
Yea I also never really seen the stability issue but I really hope these oscillations can be looked at by the devs. As soon as this bug is squashed I will have no complaints with this module and will be very happy with it. Also I spent more testing by doing standard landing operations with the heli and got the oscillations every time. The number of times was about 25 today. If any devs need help reproducing this issue i am willing to hop on discord or another streaming device and stream my screen as it occurs. -

reported Mi-24P Deceleration Oscillations
MelonatorPL replied to MelonatorPL's topic in Bugs and Problems
Further testing this and I found that this mostly occurs when increasing collective while decelerating (which you have to do as you get slower to not fall out of the sky) around 140-130 kph. This oscillation then lasts to around 100 kph after which it decreases and ultimately fades away. Additionally I just found a forum thread on this topic which is marked as solved. The solution is to turn on all of the AP channels however this doesnt affect the problem at all in my testing. I tried to recreate this with roll and pitch autopilots on, then with roll, pitch, and yaw and it happens every time on both configurations. If I disable the pitch autopilot channel however it does stop the oscillations but this isnt a proper solution as you have no pitch autopilot available. -
reported Mi-24P Deceleration Oscillations
MelonatorPL replied to MelonatorPL's topic in Bugs and Problems
Yea I let the aircraft stabilize due to the air start and I reset the trimmer as well. You can see it occur after the turn to the north as I pass 140kph. This is really getting annoying :3 Hope they fix it soon maybe with the new R60 update coming out. -
Hi I have been flying the Mi-24P as my primary module for a while now and I have noticed an issue with the pitch autopilot channel which oscillates the aircraft as it decelerates for landing starting at 140kph to around 100kph. This happens pretty much every time I attempt to slow down for landing and gets progressively worse as the aircraft gets slower and slower. I have included the track file below and hope this will help fix this issue as its getting very annoying to fly the aircraft with this present. in the track file I attempt to keep the aircraft's controls still and don't try to fight the oscillations to demonstrate the issue. Thanks in advance! oscilations.trk

Hello since the latest update I have been some trouble using the GBU38 and gps bombs in general. When I drop the bomb within the MAN REL release cue it misses by a few hundred feet. The bomb doest guide properly and sometimes overflies the target and then attempts to turn around. Are there any fixes for this and is anyone else experiencing this problem?
