Ahh okay thanks, I didn't know about that. Let's hope that's the case then!

I hate nitpicking, because the map looks awesome and I can't wait to get my hands on it, but what about the massive landmass in the center of the Netherlands, which is supposed to be a lake (IJsselmeer)? I'd say that would be pretty important for visual navigation, especially when Soesterberg gets added in phase 3.

Gets corrected, then disagrees.

FROG-7 Mission 4 - Employee-1 explodes on takeoff
EnzoF98 replied to EnzoF98's topic in Bugs & Problems
Just tried again - still broken. -
Misleading in more ways than one, seeing how the campaigns are listed under the "early access release" section, and not in the "additional features after EA release". I already mentioned this 6 months ago, yet it is still unchanged;

Title is pretty self explanatory. Track file attached. FROG7_M04_Bug.trk

Should still be a dirt strip at the time the map is set in (2008-2010)...

Posting in general WW2 wishlist, as it affects most (if not all) warbirds. Controlling levers such as the prop speed lever with digital buttons is far too sensitive for precise control over your engine settings. Lowering the "gain" parameter as described here works really well: However, this fails the integrity check and gets overwritten with every update. It would be great to have this available in a file that is safe from the integrity check, or perhaps as a slider in Special Options.

The F4-E and the 555th Tactical Fighter Squadron
EnzoF98 replied to Shibbyland's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
The below document has 2 kills with an F-4E by the 555 TFS on the 8th of July, 1972 and another one on the 16th of September that same year. https://media.defense.gov/2010/Sep/21/2001329821/-1/-1/0/AFD-100921-010.pdf -
That's not quite true. It was no longer a free-fire zone after the first wave, pilots needed visual ID before firing. All 3 kills by Rambler flight (the last group in) were with Sparrows.

You've got your map upside down buddy

Another HARM thread, understanding what the HARM needs to target / hit
EnzoF98 replied to void68's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
I didn't mean to claim that the presence of a SEAD package or a single HARM in the air would render a site completely useless. I only wanted to answer why you'd shoot an expensive missile if it's just going to miss. I might have oversimplified my answer. -
Another HARM thread, understanding what the HARM needs to target / hit
EnzoF98 replied to void68's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
The presence of a SEAD package with HARMs means the SAM operator can't focus entirely (or at all) on engaging the strike package, and in those 10 seconds you mention, won't be able to shoot at the strike package at all. The SEAD package and the $360k missile will have done their job of suppressing the SAM. -
Aight, thanks for the answer. Even though it doesn't specifically mention them being finished, I think it's still kinda misleading seeing how the campaigns are mentioned under "Key Features of the Early Access Release"
