Thanks HiJack,I installed LockOn (did not run it) then installed a downloaded version of FC2. Runs like a dream thanks.

When FC3 is released (not to distant we hope !) quite a few people ,my self included, do not have FC2 installed.I did until I upgraded to Win 7 then the installation problems started - Starforce drivers for Win 7 being the main one so will there be a work around to install FC2 with out going back to 1 Install Lockon 2 Patch lockon 3 Install FC2 Any one know or have any ideas ? There are so many down loadable versions, so which is the best way to install FC2 ? Many thanks Paul

For some strange reason the work at last !! All I did was reasign the axis (about 10 times this evening !) and now they work. Thanks for taking the time to read and answer chaps. Paul

Hello guys,after waiting for a PC rebuild with an i5 chip I have finally come back to A-10Cand I have a problem using my CH FS,PT and PP in game.Version 1.1.1.1 I have a profile which loads with the CH manager no problem but in game when I set the AXIS COMMANDS to the relevant axis, click on OK and open a mission, none of the axis work in the outside view (F2). Should I save the modified Axis Commands file and if I should,where to ? Any ideas would be greatfully recieved bretheren ! Thanks, Paul

Thanks for the quick reply mate,I didn`t download it from the current DCS website,I downloaded it from the original Lock ON before DCS came into existence !My purchase is not recorded on the current DCS website. Paul

Hello all,I originally pre purchased and downloaded the original beta version of A-10C when it was released and updated to the last pre patch version as each version was released. I have built a new system and and can`t find my original purchase details on the merged DCS web site and when I run the latest version 1.1.1.1 it asks for a serial number which I didn`t think I had with the original download. I have tried adding 1 to my log in details (old and new merged sites) but this has shown nothing and I have also put a ticket up in user support. Did any one download the original and did it need a serial or was it just a download and run the .exe ? Thanks in advance for any help. Paul

Why is there a rubber bungee chord tied to each side of the instrument shroud ? Is it to act as a map/Jeppsen card holder ?

I have a similar problem using a Logitech G-15 board,in game all the top row of keys from Esc to Pause/break don`t work.Outside the sim they are ok and also when I key press in the key control set up they are working. Only since the patch though. Paul

I am running a Nvidia GTX 260 with 896 mb ram with driver version 197.13, AA set at x8 , Vsync forced on ,Vista 64 and 8 gig ddr and I don`t have the black lines anywhere. Paul

As Mugenjin says, that is definately not the mini Hud.It looks like an easy navigation/armement icon with altitude, heading and speed. If you look at Page 11 of the manual (RTFM !) it explanes that you have selected " Game Avionics Mode " or an " Arcade Style " easy avionics mode. Page 11 also tells you how to remove it ! Paul

OK Tiger try this mate from the top. I am using a CH Fighterstick,CH Pro Throttle,Pro Pedals and a TrackIr 4 with version 5 software.You must have your TrIR running to see the options list for the TrIr. Open the control page and select A-10A from the dropdown list if it isn`t selected already, then in the next box to the right select AXIS COMMANDS from the drop down list.You should have a list if all your hardware that FC2 can "see". My list looks like, ACTION..KEYBOARD..CH FIGHTERSTICK..CH PROPEDALS..CH PROTHROTTLE..MOUSE.. TRACKIR from left to right ,all your devices should be there mate. Use the scroll bar at the bottom of the "lists" to move to the right to find both the MOUSE and TRACKIR list. If there are any MOUSE "cells" as you call them used on the list then click each one and click clear.When this is done then move to your TRACKIR list and find the TRACKIR ABSOLUTE LONGITUDE SHIFT CAMERA VIEW and click clear on that cell that says TRACKIR Z. At the bottom of the list is ZOOM VIEW then select a cell in the empty TRACKIR list that corresponds with the ZOOM VIEW,click that cell then click the ADD button and select TRACKIR Z from the dropdown in the KEY/BUTTON box. I have tried to make it as easy as I can without using pictures and if it reads too basic to what you understand in the sim then I am sorry mate ! Hope you get it to work. Paul

You have to select Axis for each aircraft and select zoom view with the TrackIr z axis and save. Hope that helps,this LUA scripting seems a bit daunting at the moment to me ! Paul
