can i drive a humvee onto the ch47 if i have combined arms?

if the ramp is down on the ch47, can an ejected pilot walk up it and be transported? and would the mission editor recognize the ejected pilot unit being moved to a zone for example?

nope - nothing changed.... i checked. dunno. hopefully it will resolve on its own like last time

its doing it again... it seemed to resolve on its own and now after a few months its doing it again. I launch MT VR OpenXR like i always do and it opens in a window on my cliff house wall... the window looks like its in the 3d world though.. strange. its like i'm looking at a 3d movie on the wall of the cliff house.

Heyo
I use the toolkit when flying VR in DCS... i just bought a popular civilian sim and am intending to use Open XR TK with it as well as i see they have compatibility for it.
That said, if i create settings to the render scale or turbo mode in the other sim, will it keep those settings separate from what i have set in DCS?

i launch via desktop - usually i right click and run as admin. I have two desktop icons - one with the vr properties and one just pointing at the multithread exe.

@Phantom711 No sir. I really only play DCS. I think my boy played the forest a while back but I have successfully played in the huey since then.
I might just reinstall ... i really dont want to though.

@The_Nephilim the file location is correct - its pointing to the bin-mt exe as expected. My path is correct i think.. nothing changed there: "E:\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt\DCS.exe" --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR does that look right to you?
@Phantom711 WMR opens and i can see DCS launch into the 2D window on the wall of my WMR cliff house.

hey all - i have used dcs in vr plenty over the last year and it was always working quite as expected.
Today i tried to launch using my VR shortcut (worked last week) and it keeps launching into a window in vr as opposed to a 3d space... That is to say my headset is working ... i'm looking at my desktop window in the G2 and when i launch DCS in vr it opens in a small window that looks like the VR preview window (it has that shaded black "oval" outline etc)
I tried a skatezilla repair and it doesnt seem to help... any ideas?

im also curious.
i was entitled to 5 planes. I already have the p51/47/spit/109 ... i purchased the 190 on my own by accident. I'm sitting on a remaining plane credit and was watching the 262 as it was listed. Is this not happening? Can i swap my credit for the Mosquito?

i flew the map for the first time tonight and loved it. I am soooo very much looking forward to some missions and MP servers enjoying hte space.

Just a simple wish... not sure if its even possible.
I have two shortcuts - one for Multithreaded pancake play for when i want to enjoy the beauty of DCS, stream or make movies. The second is a VR/openXR target that i launch to get into my G2.
Its a small pain to launch into the application and have to switch the graphics profile and re-launch. I'd love it if launching the MT exe automatically launched into my high graphics profile and launching the VR path launched into my VR graphics settings.
Might be of interest to others... i dunno.

I tried to do some searched in the user files for mig21 today and as soon as i select a field, the "Search" button becomes unresponsive. It happens for all fields that can be selected.

I just ran pancake in MT and can't get over how beautiful DCS looks with my settings maxed. My system is beefy enough to run max and look damn smooth and pretty as all h3ll.
I guess im just tired with the endless tweaking trying to get smooth gameplay with my G2 and OpenXRTK. Things just look ugly and the performance is always poor. I do like the spotting soooo much better though. I'll miss that.
I dont know if i just couldnt find the right settings or if i have to pack my reverb up until my next pc gpu/cpu upgrade.
Anyone else hit a wall of exhaustion? Any inspiration out there or hope I should be watching out for?
Enjoy the tweaking fellas... I'm thinking I'm finally out and off to actually be able to fly on the cold war server.

Hey all - there are a series of things i try to remember when i am shutting down DCS - its everything such as powering down my usb hub for peripherals, charging my delan clip/headset, shutting down trackir camera etc.
I often forget to charge or turn off some of my wireless items and was thinking i could trigger a displayed message using task scheduler recognition of dcs.exe being closed down.
Does anyone have any experience? I think it may need a custom XML to monitor event logs but i do not know how to set it up. i googled other efforts like this: https://superuser.com/questions/1617797/task-scheduler-trigger-task-when-a-process-terminates but cannot get it to work.
Any windows gurus willing to help a fella out?
i would note that my DCS.exe does not sit in traditional program file or x86 paths as it is on NVME.

i also added a single image .png into my f18 custom set and it also doesnt show. the old stuff (.pngs) that i had in there do but the single addition i put in isn't.... very strange

thanks ^^ What do you think about my VRAM Tuning ... I dont really understand much on what or if i should touch that. I have it at 2020MHz as per the video i watched but see yours at 2110. Anything there i should be cognizant of?

i thought AMD smart access memory was recommended to stay off for dcs and vr? Looking at your specs we are pretty close so yeah i guess i'll get it on. Thanks!

My PC Specs are: ASUS Tuf Gaming Pro x570 / AMD Ryzen 7 5800X @ 5 Ghz via Ryzen Master OC / XFX Radeon 6900 XT / 64 GB DDR4 3200
Its my first AMD card and frankly I'm really unfamiliar with both Adrenaline settings and these larger GPU .... I understand there is benefit in undervolting the cards so i followed a youtube tutorial on how to set the card up for VR.
Can i ask those of you running VR to advise if this profile looks legit or is it trash? Would you be willing to share a profile for me to try if you think its better? Its weird because i dont really hear the fans kick in all that often in DCS... i would think they should?

Thanks @TED ; honestly i just uninstalled it as things seem pretty stable at the moment. I am assuming it has left behind no legacy changes once installed?

So we have Low Mid High and VR labels in out graphics options... along with Custom 1,2,3
I propose you allow us to re-label the custom options. I only visit DCS irregularly and i have different custom profiles for VR, Multimonitor and pancake single monitor. I'd love to be able to re-name the custom ones so i can recall why i had created that profile... it might be for VR, or a myriad of reasons.
