  1. AntiSkid are now fixed in the patch so now you can stop and no black marks - all done
  2. The day before the patch i did a fly-over of some sites during a recon mission and recorded some mark points through my HMD with the plan to go and bomb them on the next mission, however on landing i noted all the mark points had gone. ~I was happy when i read they fixed this. But now from the comments above it was either already fixed prior to the patch or the patch hasnt fixed it. As for the Natops stating it resets to MP1 this could mean it simply selects MP1 and the data is held. I would be interested to find out what happens to waypoints when you go WOW after landing from your last waypoint of say WP4, does this stay selected at WP4 when you take off again or select WP0. Now my interest is piqued im going to go into a mission and find out. As for the undeniable value of being able to land with some target data from a recon mission being held in the MC then Rearm and fly out and bomb or while on the ramp move them to waypoints or simply right them down and use them later in a BDA brief or something (instead of doing this during RTB flight with your head down) it will come as a surprise if this MP Reset Fix with WOW is a thing. These aircraft are hi-tech can we assume pilots get the pen and paper out mid-air and before WOW extract data from a computer and put it to paper. Im not sure if there is a way to transfer a MP into a WP, I know they cant be included in a WPSEQ, this transfer would be useful IRL i guess. I understand some aircraft have a removable data cartridge would this not likely hold mission data etc? also iRL they have a video pointing at the DDI so its all on tape too, would they sit through a video to get this data back, not sure on this one. So the question is...... OK im off to check what WPs do WOW
  3. Yup doing this for me too 588 588 588 i close up 584 584 584 i drop back 588 588 588 - im pretty bad as it is but the onetime you want to get it in it pulls away. i have the yoyo yips as it is, so im not getting any. This looks like an old thread ah well i need toilet gotta go
  4. I am getting CTD more often than not EVERY time I play multiplayer, I thought it was because I was in stable DCS while the servers were apparently in Open Beta so I changed it all up and I am now open beta yet still getting CTD. I am sick of patiently going about my business shooting at stuff then as I return to base all tallies are lost as the game crashes and I am looking at my desktop. This is EVERYTIME usually the same server too (well the 4ya ones currently) I have noticed it happens when I am selecting new nav points for the planned landing area - screen freezes sound goes, sound returns but the game has stopped and seconds later I am at the desktop. I know open beta is supposedly not stable, but all I hear is yeah its and open beta server yeah im playing the open beta etc etc, but it only seems to be me crashing out, or at least I don't hear people talking about it enough to indicate it is happening at a similar frequency that it happens to me. I usually watch a streamer while I play and they don't seem to crash out that often. I want to enjoy this game with all it offers but I am struggling here. Comments would be useful, well they might be...
  5. Thx man that all helps - I have just now been running a bomb load straight out to sea using throttle/thrust to trim I see this really affects the rate of climb and when I trim I usually over trim and I'm as you said oscillating. Now I see that. Also I watched some Georgian oil vids (not tutorials just the guy at the wheel) I noticed straight away he runs out far then turns and reduces to 45% thrust on his run in - I've been at 80% trying to trim trying to slow trying to turn steer etc and the thrust is just yanking me all over - so done some of that too and now I have loads of time over the target - I do a trim run at my bombing speed 450-500 (will try 600) to get it all set then run around and it has much improved my runs - now I go back to work out how to fire weapons of each type - so the stick will be fine - problem is going to be buttons - reaching to KB for TSD zoom plus using mouse views is going to be my new problem.. (track ir next I guess)
  6. yeah thx guys - I have a few missions I made for the PRACTICE and im not expecting to grasp it overnight (im a week into it) - I have curves setup on the stick as per a few youtubers - the manual actually states stick inputs should be as linear as possible - I have gone from 35 down to zero and currently im at 15 which feels great - as I said when im not trying to do anything the plane flies like a patty (is there such a thing) - I can land but not well enough yet to go multiplayer campaign/mission - it was just like put a runway in front or a target and I get the yips - I will keep at it of course I got rid of dead zones as these made things worse - I like the positive action feel with zero Yes War Thunder and WOWP is not a great example to sim flight - hence I don't play them Just thought id ask, see if there was a secret for eg they say stay tail heavy for your trim. Its all fine until your climb rate exceeds the amount of forward stick you have, then its up up until it comes booming down and your off the trim back on the stick and momentarily you have control and then whoa off she goes again - I think it is a quite a sensitive plane for me right now and maybe my joystick is lacking finesse - but im a week in so investment in another stick is under consideration only at present.
  7. OK this is an is it me question so be nice... So i am free flying to a target maybe one I have created in a mission maybe a tutorial. All trimmed lovely, speed good, I can even take my hand of the stick for a slurp of jacks finest. Put a runway in-front of this plane and its like a bucking rhino, put a target in-front and try to aim, off it goes up down left right never the twain shall meet. Ok ok flyover, now I need to turn back towards the targets, the plane knows this so starts to beep and pleep at me I turn away all is well try turning slower, ahh wheres the target gone im 20 miles past it. So basically anytime, what I need to do is in-front of me or I need to turn to it the plane goes all bull in a china shop. Set the trim for level flight, ok it starts to climb a little I push forward a little it wants to climb more forward stick, ok now its coming now from nearly straight up and im back on the stick and back and more and trim off and more back its still wants to go down and im on the stops of the joystick, maybe that's enough and it starts to climb up and up and up try to trim, stick forward up and up, ok I got it now its off back down again now up now down. Some times it is ok (usually when im just free flying) but soon as I set up for a bomb run or landing, the shenanigans start. Usually I hit esc and start over from take off or lesson, and others I just let it crash, thinking hmmm DCS aint for me. So is it me. I only have a hotas X but I think it is setup fine and works (tested and tested again) and often the plane flies ok, just as soon as I have to do something,,,,,,,,,,:helpsmilie:
  8. OK that has got to be the most long winded info intense forum registration ever. I had assumed the DCS login which I used to download and buy stuff was sufficient. No No there is yet ANOTHER password and login to remember. This has taken so long I forgot what I came here to ask....………..
