  1. Hi, glad to meet you here guys! I am not sure if the following minor bag relates to Video issues or it's already known. As soon as I get in cockpit and unpause, paused window disapears as should be, but game keeps freezed, a second press needed to proceed. Do you also have it or it's my rigs issue ?   2. Hi, agree with your respective of next DCS module ! I also have in mind about your modern F16 Fleet. Modern war dictates quality not numbers. Comparing to the size of Belgium you have a huge fleet of F-16. Please accept a question of mine, does 2d Wing also uses IRIS-T w JHMCS as we also do and what is the block number of F16?   3. :) Hi Pilotasso, wishful thinking ? I believe at the starting, most critical stages of a conflict, skies are indeed over crowded and SA is hard to maintain. I would hesitate to fire in BVR with multiple mixed ID targets on radar, and a good chance to loose lock during HPRF pole trip time, rendering the pole a husky or mad dog on first target it will face. BVR optics instruments like sniper pod can indeed provide BVR visual IFF, but RL is crueler than sims on weather conditions at 30~40 miles away, fog, etc. Then again instrumentation like this is not a standard configuration on every A/C that can be armed with it. :v:

  5. In hypothetical full-scale deployment operations with over crowded skies, visual IFF is the only way ... even if you have positively intentified enemy, you don't want hasky or maddog poles home to friendly units. :)

  8. To me MSFS series are only for flight experiance until now. You can not generate a combat enviroment, etc. Others dont bother with that. Others consider this aspect higly important.

Well, assume for e.g. the possibility of Microsoft had contracted some agreements with big OEM builders on delivering an OS to their new PC models. OEM builders had paid licensing for this. Development matters back at M$ delay the final product, market time window became to narrow bla bla bla .... I don't know if it really happened like this! But we have witnessed this scenario to many times in software market. Then the tactics are continuous updates to face glitch/bug/performance etc as you also said. For me Vista gave the impression of an unfinished work! Vista was unreasonably heavy like a not optimised engine, not to mention instability matters. The boosted performance, stability and minimal updates of W7 proves it to me. I don't know.... that's the feeling I have about the story. I may be wrong.

  11. Well, I believe that M$ has committed to many mistakes in business that eventually people has developed to many parallel theories ! Even IT professionals have deferent theories about M$. It’s to common. I really don't believe that I have an infinite Wisdom, It just happen to be 20 years in IT business. I thought I could express my opinion, and argue without been personally attacked, but lately I have realized that most of the members of this forum lack of at least basic manners. In every thread you can find little brats that insult others without even able to express opinion. Sadly this forum starts to become the kingdom of irony.   12. No the F-16 is best on everything based off of Youtube video's ! How you compare different planes that have been designed for different roles ? Discussion Is not M2000 vs F-16, it’s only a M2000 character presentation. In my opinion, M2000 is more efficient as an interceptor, while f-16 is a multirole fighter that commits most of the roles well indeed ! Combat A/Cs are tools, there is always a specialized tool for every work ! :smilewink:
  13. Finally it works for Saitek, I have implemented the same with a slice deference ! At Press window, cut the released T button at 60,000 and paste it at the beginning of release window before zzxx sequence ! This way it worked for me like TTZZXX. Also use minimal timings as it is critical for the accuracy of trimming and bumping behavior PeterP thank you for your excellent idea. I have further improved the stability of flight using this trick.
  14. On the other hand F16 has a slight advandage at BVR combat. But latly this tents to be vanquished due to the new updated MICA IR/EM missiles M2000 brings.

Ok, If you watch carefully on all off these videos, you will find that the M2000 is prety flyable at aprox 120 IAS due to Delta Wing, while in an other situation the F16 starts stalling aprox at 135 IAS. That what I said before about " the F16 eventually looses equal advantage in extended BFM situations. That's what it usually ends up"
  16. During publishing of these videos I really didn't imagine the bad way this thread had to follow. Yes I answered back to Rumbler mentioning only about aircraft. Sobek, you directly answered to me with this sensitive video. What you really expected to answer back? Flowers? You call that reaction dangerous attitude? I am pretty sure you would have reacted the same ! There are people that simply love their countries and feel proud of. People, don't merge the nationalism with this love ! Come on, I am in a mature position to admit my faults, I overreacted ! Admit that you have done a bad “diplomacy” choice. (I now belive that you haven't done this on purpose) In the end, noone have nothing against each other ! It would be better all of us to stop this unlucky contradiction here if you all agree .

Anyway, that's what I know from HAF real pilots. What national matters? FIR continuous penetration matters over Aegean, which also happens to be EU frontiers as well! But I don’t wish to discuss any more in this thread. He's clearly showing an Greek M2000 getting owned by an Turkish F-16. You ask me to forget the rest. It’s not easy. Please understand that this is a sensitive matter in this corner of world. I have plenty of more humiliating videos to prove the opposite. I choose not to publish them in any website. Please, indicate to me from the above videos I have personally send, witch one includes dog fighting with Turks. 1st Video: International Aeronaftical Exibition Archangel in Greece. 2nd Video: HAF InterSquadron Training 3d Video: Just a Squadron Spot. Everyone has ! I already mentioned that HAF owns both types of A/C and intensive training is committed in every day fashion between HAF pilots. This is the source of my Videos! And this is the source of reality between both A/C's. Where did I said that Youtube is a source of truth ? There are plenty of such videos on Youtube some real other fake ! This is a Aegean virtual war for 25 years ! Virtual Casualties exist in both sides, even real one by accident I can asure you ! Since you have answerd back to me, I think your video is at least clumsy. Next time think twice before you interfair with sensitive National matters between others !

  20. Rambler91, your Video simply proves, the horror that this plane spreads in Aegean Sea for almost 15 years. Beside that, the importance of M2000 is prety clear to Hellinic Air Force (HAF), since HAF owns both M2000 & F16C 52+ :smilewink: Sobek, Bleeding airspeed is not a problem with M2000 when it BFMs with F16. F16 simply can't follow the turn rate of M2000, or it can't pull it out from its Six ! The truth must be always spoken! As I said before ... It eats F16 for breakfast !
  21. Mirage 2000 is a highly agile A/C. It can manage approx 11 g max loads. As an Interceptor is simply unbitable. Belive me, it eats F16s for brakefast ... I know that ! :smilewink: Almost any plane that merges in BFM with M2000, commits a suicide. Delta Wing planes rules in that area.

  25. Only the 1st production model that DCS emulates, and only as much as it concerns the Targeting systems of this model. Ka-50 has sustained improvments and upgrades during service times like Ka-50 Sh or Erdogan exportable edition etc. On flight characteristics it is still unbeatable ... in my opinion.
