Kneeboards are pretty hundy @ Falcon. If DCS A10C must huve a pilot body, at least to have a reason for that. :thumbup:

Ka50 Easy to fly ? Easier than A10 ? Why I feel the opposite ?

Different experiance, skills, knowlidge, tactics and piloting requirements. A10C is the new kid on the block, but Ka50 is still the only one in his type.:)

I just know for sure that there are starforce and activation problems with VMware. A lot of posts exist for that reason on Activations section ! VMware is bad choise for it. :)

Reflactions of objects at a calm sea or lake, can only been seen from the ground lever not higher. Only the sky reflection can be seen from higher altitudes, this explains the blue color of sea or the grey durring cloud concentrations. Evening sun makes it more possible to have object reflections at calm sea. This is due to sunshine low deflection corner on watter and then on objects. Am I right ?

I really understand you. I also feel it some times. But have you ever considered that after many years on sim experience, it is getting harder for us to be excited in comparison to a new comer ? Doe's it makes us more demanding or strange of the old man type ? I don't know ... I am philosophising here ! My Rgds :)

I think we are mixing the art with the Fart here. :D:) Imagine the CPU power consumed for bringing all 4th generation avionics flight physics and comms to reality. Imagine the calculations needed to accurately simulate weapon envelopes, realistic enemy behaviours on real 3D space, with geometry getting it's role as in reality. As much as AI and hundreds more things I can not recall. The arcade Hawx 2 lacks of a these futures and overhead above. Putting the graphics of Hawx 2 on top of DCS it may be possible, but you will need a next decade PC! DCS Real 3D graphics and HAWX photorealistic 3D like graphics are two completely different things ! P.S. I also own Wings of pray. Very good graphics, High FPS, and good physics …. But nothing more to simulate from a WWII Fighter than some basic avionics and AI. :thumbup:

Not quite. Only when you need to create a junction point. It's only a GUI for not using command line. All these futures exist in NTFS 5.0 microsoft filesystem but you use them by command line Ln.exe Fsutil.exe diskpart.exe etc And yes you can move your precompiled folder to other disk and then create a junction point folder to the original path using same folder name/path. That way the system will belive that it reads/writes data on drive C:/...../precompiled folder, while actually will read/save them from/to d:/...../precompiled folder. You can also use it when you don’t have enough space in your hard disk to move applications and data to other disks, and all programs will work fine. Just expirament using test folders. A misconfiguration will lead to data loss !

Hi Is it possible to change what folder the rendered files saved in ? Default is ..\Eagle Dynamics\DCS A-10C Beta\Movies but I have a second hd dedicated for media files. So can I somehow change this folder to for example d:\renders?

Anyone mentioned Starforce AAA technology ? :)

Not so rapid if you consider Radar development, but generally it is supposed to be quicker ... but I think ...that also applies for any Radar equiped A/C.
