Spoilers: Mission 6, Heavy Load bug
Scarecrow replied to Dachs's topic in DCS: UH-1H Peacekeeper Lebanon Campaign
Disregard last, yes my navigation sucks. I went into the mission editor in the brief and used the ruler to get headings for the delivery part of the mission. I appreciated the provision of a heading to take for the surprise part, that helps for incompetent navigators If you wanted to make your campaigns ultra noob friendly stick a FM homing on everything, but that's your design decision to make. -
Spoilers: Mission 6, Heavy Load bug
Scarecrow replied to Dachs's topic in DCS: UH-1H Peacekeeper Lebanon Campaign
Current build for this date, big patch came out earlier this week that changed scripting stuff. I flew up to hotel and placed the cargo on the helipad down the road from Hotel and nothing/nada/zip/zilch et al. I used auto unhook, maybe that was the issue? -
So we took out all the bad guys and Task Force Zues secured the airfield, time to RTB. Half way back to the next WP I get a message saying TFZ have taken severe damage and the mission is failed. I cry out in frustration and rage quit the mission without landing, debrief screen says mission successful and i got 90, probably would've got 100 if I'd landed. Might need to have a look at the triggers or whatever going on here, its a bit bugged

Ok, so from reading other posts this frequency is now used by a new map assest in cyprus i think if i read it correctly. Did you ever consider changing the frequency in your campaign so that we don't end up going to cyprus instead of home because it doesn't point you towards Naquora, i can tell you that. Just finished mission 5 on the first attempt so thanks for fixing that issue. The helipad was in pitch darkness, i'm surprised they don't have any lighting they can switch on so you see pad 5, that'd be nice, I just used the search light on the chopper but it feels unnecessarily difficult given the difficulty of landing on the boat. But please fix the NDB at the base, I hate using the kneeboard for navigation it feels like cheating

Ok, just played this mission. It's pea soup, visiblity is nil. I'm guessing this is just how the weather is in DCS now, its been two and half years, this is not a DCS bug that will be fixed. You will have to take an afternoon to redo the weather in this mission, you are being paid for this campaign, i paid you money for this campaign four weeks ago.

Comms in this mission are pretty difficult. I had the same issue, engines needed to be started before radio check could be completed despite ground power. I managed to get up into the air and switched to the channel for "Sally" as directed by the on screen prompt, eventually though i ended up listening to my half of the conversation with no idea what was being said to me. I dont if thats an issue with triggers or if the channel needed to be changed again but i was not given a prompt, its really frustrating. Im not a military pilot so i dont know procedures and there isnt much instruction and there a a lot of radio channels being used. I had assumed that red radio would remain on channel 1 and green would be used to switch to different channels for comms between different flight elements etc. This is a pure moan post as this mission really requires more instruction for the player who isnt experienced in the radio procedures, to familiarise them with the radio procedures on this familiarisation flight.

How is this still an issue after two years when the fix would take approximately five minutes? No time to fix it?

Ilya originally plannned a Me262 as premium content, when ED took over the project they did plan to make it but i guess they weren't able to honor that promise which is fine we got most of the planned package. The two weeks reference is from Oleg Maddox the head dev of IL2 series.

Nice, what a journey. I'm guessing the 262 will be another two weeks

I put into the kickstarter back in the day and placed my order for the super deluxe version. This P47 module doesn't show in my list of modules available to install, what gives? All i can install is the map, spitfire, 109 and 190D. I know the mossie wasn't part of the deal and neither was the Anton but im pretty sure the Jug was part of the deal. Its not a big deal just wondering.

Mission 4 sticks at bridge
Scarecrow replied to snugius's topic in WORLDS APART Spring 2025 Campaign
The guy runs up to the bridge and then returns and just stands next to my helo, has anyone got this to work recently? -
Sorry to moan, I've noticed that even after you have delivered a cargo it still shows up on the available cargo's list. Kind of a PITA if you accidentally choose it

reported earlier Ingame display brightness issue
Scarecrow replied to marksman1942's topic in Multi-Display Bugs
I had hoped this would be rectified in 2.8 but issue still exists. I've almost given up using the exported viewports in the F18 as they're just to dim and on night missions they're useless. Is a solution to this still being pursued or is it unresolvable?
