How do I transfer the flight controls to my human CPG?

No spot tracker in a KW. When asked what we wanted in a -58F or ARH, that was one of our requests. KW pilots talk each other on to targets. Example: KW1: Do you see the cross road at 2 o'clock? KW2: Yes, with a single tree on the north side? KW1: Yes, that's it. Follow the road west until you see a compound with a wall. KW2: I have a compound with a wall, about a mile west of the intersection. KW1: There is another compound about 400 meters south. It has a coke can roof, do you see it? KW2: Roger, coke can roof approximately 400 meters south. KW1: That's it. I just saw 4 personnel, possibly armed move into the courtyard. We'll maneuver to get our MMS on it from the north, you go west and do the same. When we would go out with an apache, it was much simpler to just tell them we were squirting the target and they would use their spot tracker.

3/17 CAV was in RC East 2009-2010. A, B, C, D and E Troops at JBAD/ F Troop, a provisional troop was at Bagram 3/17 CAV was in RC South 2012-2013. B, C, D and E Troops at KAF/ A Troop at FOB Wolverine. (We replaced 2/6 in Kandahar and 1-6 replaced us.) 3/17 CAV was in Iraq in 2007-2008, but I don't know much about that deployment, before my time. A google search of the Cav squadrons might help you out.

I tried the first mission of Speed and Angels tonight. I tried hitting the backspace button to hide the stick, is that not possible in the campaign?

Does anyone know if there are any MFK or armament panel peripherals for sale? I'm looking for plug and play, just hook up the USB and map the controls.

This was a thing in the KW. You quickly learned to keep you thumb on the LOS control to maintain your laser on target.

That website is incorrect. The max gross weight of the aircraft is only 5200 lbs. a 2000 lbs sling load would not happen. There is not button in a KW (post 1980s) to release a sling load. I believe the article is confusing the OH-58A/C and the OH-58D. The same article you site also says that a KW can carry two litters, a KW is in not way capable of doing that either. It is a poorly researched article. The fact that speeds and weights alternate between imperial and metric indicates that this article was merely copied from multiple resources with little or no actual research done to ensure it was correct.

When I went to pull the logbox, I realized that whenever it was last updated a sound card was not chosen. I selected one, that fixed it right up. Easy fix, I just didn't notice a source wasn't selected. -

When I start Sim Shaker Sound module it tells me 'Good new. This application is up to date' (Version 2.36), but when I try to test the module and hit play I get 'Some object are not initinialized properly. Application may not work'. Any idea why? -

I apologize for being "that guy." Lead is breaking off their attack while trail covers them, why is lead firing? Night bird is also an L2MUM bird.

This is not asking for a release date, but for when the map is set. Will the map be set? 2001? 2005? 2015? 2020? Current day? Will all FOBs in active use in whatever time period is chosen be on the map? Or will only major bases be included (i.e. Leatherneck, Bagram, Jbad, KAF)

Yes, I flew the KW. The -10 was changed to reflect the new gross weight.

The fully articulated 4 blade rotor makes the KW extremely nimble. The KW is power limited. We often operated at max gross. Pilots learned that airspeed kept the aircraft from falling out of the sky in those environments. Operating at a 10-15% power margin. In more forgiving environments the power margin would be 20-25%. It was 5500 lbs at one point, but was reduced to 5200. This had to do with the aircrafts autorotational capabilities.

Had it bound. once I unticked the box for the press between the gun and off/safe it worked fine. It's just off because I have had that box ticked for years with no issues until yesterday.

Jumped in to play some DCS and I can't get my weapons to work. I changed the HUD to Air to Air, flipped up the master arm switch, pressed the SW cool and missile prep switches and I couldn't select a weapon. I rebound my switches and when in the assignment screen the buttons I used on my joystick lit up identifying that they worked. The only thing out of the ordinary i did was flip the master arm to training before flipping it up to arm. Any ideas?

3 Migs in a left turn, radar on. I didn't tell the AI to do anything, this was one the quick mission options. I believe the MiGs were focused on a flight of F-16s ahead and to their left.

No AWACS available at the time. I wasn't looking at the radar repeater, I was watching them visually.

Yesterday evening I was trying to play multiplayer, but SRS wouldn't automatically join the server (a different frustration) and I was short on time so I built a quick mission. All fighters and attack jets over Nevada, clouds at around 5,000 feet and another layer around 20,000. Mission starts, I see several MiG-29s off to my right. I climb, roll right and come level with them. I'm 10-11 miles to their rear. The flight of 4 Migs doesn't know I'm there. MiGs are in a left turn, I'm holding them at about my 11 o'clock and closing. I ask Jester to lock up the enemy ahead, "Can't do that.", I ask to lock the aircraft ahead, "Sorry boss." I slowed back because I want to use my sparrows before closing with sidewinders. I continue to ask Jester to lock the targets and I get nothing. I finally get to 5 miles and lock them myself. I usually don't have an issue with Jester, but this one has me stumped, if anyone has a suggestion it will be appreciated.
