  1. I hope he is a WSO (can't zoom in enough to see his wings). That center pouch is huge and would make reaching around it for the stick a pain.
  2. Zelle and PayPal are additional options
  3. I have an external (USB) sound card with two outputs for sound, I'm using one of those for the buttkicker and I use my quest 2 speakers for sound when playing. Do I need another sound card?
  4. I got a Buttkicker Gamer Plus for Christmas. I have it all hooked up and power running. I have downloaded (but not yet installed) Simshaker for Aviators and Simshaker Sound Module. I have the buttkicker hooked up through the headphone jack. Do I just need to install Simshaker for Aviators and Simshaker Sound Module to complete my set up? Thanks
  5. Anything like FPSVR for non steam users?
  6. I'm getting one in around 26 days...I'll let you know if I have the same issues. I really wanted it for rotary-wing too.
  7. I'm getting messages for every aircraft from AWACS, not just mine and the messages are taking up half the screen. This is new with 2.8. Is there a option I have failed to recheck or another solution to this problem? I have seen a suggestion to change the radio frequency, but then I lose the AWACS messages that are for me.
  8. Delete everything out of the FXO file and everything out of the Metashaders2 folders, right?
  9. I saw it suggested that I should delete FXO and Metashader files after each update to DCS. How do I do this? When I look in my Eagle Dynamics folder I have 2 FXO files. One is in C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\F14 with 4 files (DDD.fxo, Jestercam.fxo, Lantirn.fxo and TCS.fxo) The other file is C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\shaders with a single zip file (fxo.zip) What do I delete? What about the metashaders? I have a C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar Shaders\metashaders.edc with multiple folders and files within each. Do I delete all of these?
  10. Thanks. I'm going to look into one.
  11. How does the Ushake pad work with DCS? What type of review would you give it?
  12. Just an email to Andre and then a bitcoin transfer?
  13. That looks like a day HUD. Ive never seen anyone actually use one. I don't know if there was one for the KW. That one looks like it would be compatible with Blackhawk or a Chinook, not a Kiowa. As already said the PDU would have been attached to the aircraft.
  14. The movie was an odd situation in which the pilot was nearly comatose. In a normal fuel critical situation the crew discusses what their plan is and how they will manage the fuel situation.
  15. I'm stand alone not Steam, so changing the steam settings won't help me. I should've mentioned it in my initial post. I did try changing the pixel density in the occulus software and that helped. I had changed it in DCS and saw no difference, I hadn't thought to try it in the Oculus software.
  16. Glad you enjoyed the book. I'll pass it on.
  17. Gauges in the Tomcat are blurry, not unreadable, but take far more concentration to read than a quick glance because they are blurry or I have to lean in to read labels (on the radios or to set the gun count). Any recommendations? Thanks. Playing with the following: Quest 2 Ryzen 5 3600 32 GB Ram Nvidia RTX 3080
  18. Can you give us an introduction to the Paradise Lost campaign? What's the year, who do you play as, overall goal?
  19. I'm Army, the anti-collison light and position lights come on when we turn on the battery at night. WHen we were in country as soon as we departed the field everything went off except for slime lights. I currently operate on an USAF base, they turn on their anti-collision and position lights either with the battery or at engine crank too. Not USN/USMC, but something as basic as lights is probably pretty common throughout.
  20. Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it in 2D with just the monitor to check the controls as you suggested. It worked fine. I guess it is an oculus issue...maybe. I'll have to try it with oculus now. It was a VR options issue. Had to make sure the hand controllers were unchecked in options. Weird that it only affected the F-14.
  21. Having control issues with the F-14. I have tried both the A&B. When in the firs person (F1) view the aircraft controls are dampened. I can put in full deflection and get almost no reaction. When I switch to exterior view (F2) everything works fine. It is almost like I have to pump the stick to get movement. I can move the stick to the center and back in the direction of roll and I get a little more roll each time. It is not my joystick, I have tried multiple other aircraft with no issues. I have done a repair and tried restarting my computer. I have been testing in free flight so it's not like I forgot to turn on a pump (and if I had, it shouldn't work in the exterior view). This didn't happen until the latest hotfix.
  22. When I fly the F-14 (A or B) in the first person cockpit view the input is sluggish then quits. I'll pull up or put in a lateral movement and the aircraft begins to move then just kind of stops after a few degrees of roll or nose up/nose down. I can't even roll inverted. I thought it was an airspeed issue, it happens in all flight regimes, SAS on and off, gear up or down. However when I go to an exterior view the jet suddenly responds and I can throw it around as I would normally, once I go back to the cockpit the input is dampened again. I tried other aircraft, no issue. I tried rebinding the joystick...no joy. Anyone else have this issue?
