I purchased my game through Steam.And the folders you name where to install these files i don't have. For instance the Tech file older in mods doesn't exist. Also My game files are in 2 areas. Saved games and other folder are in the users directory but there are mod files and game file also in the steam directory. But none contain a tech file. Also when you said place the carrier file in the tech file do you mean the whole folder. There is texture folder cockpit folder all kinds of folders and files in the Degaule and Rafael Folders do they all go into that tech folder if I had one. Also do I have to create a tech file in mods? Anyways I tried putting all the degaule and Rafaele Folders everywhere possible in mods and aircraft. nothing worked.

I Have the steam version. This may not work with the steam version. Thanks anyways.

Sorry meant DDI. Yeah I couldn't figure out why the Navigation didn't work. Maybe a protection against making changes. I have another question. I am a newbee to this so bear with me. I downloaded the Nato mission for the F 18 C. This requires 2 Mods. Charles Degaul And a Rafale MOD. I downloaded both but the developers didn't bother to mention how to install these mods or where to put them so they work with the mission. Do you have any idea. Thanks.

Hi In the Caucasus campaign for the F/a 18C I am trying to change the start of the plane from runway to ramp. On some of the missions for example alert 5 mission when I change from runway to ramp and start the mission it goes into the F10 campaign map and I can't get to my plane. Other missions like the caz mission works fine until I take off. The waypoint mile counter on the hud does not work stays fixed on one waypoint and the distance to that waypoint also does not change. the same for AMD as well. Without waypoints very difficult to fly the mission. I have tried almost everything nothing seems to work Anyone have any suggestions how to fix this. Thanks

No F/A 18c. But is their anyway to make the waypoints work. Kind of useless if your waypoints don't work. Also some of the missions like the first mission in campaign do not go to the aircraft when you start the mission but to the campaign map no matter what I do. I have tried every possible configuration nothing seems to work.

But one other thing when I do click type to ramp and start the mission the waypoints don't work. In other words the distance to the waypoint does not change on the hud or the amd.

I am trying to change the starting location of my plane in campaign missions from runway to ramp. In some of the missions it allows me to do it but the waypoints and distance to the waypoints does not work. Other missions when I have changed the starting point to ramp and start the mission it automatically goes into the F10 Campaign Map and I can't get to my plane. Anyone know first of all is it is possible to change your planes starting point in campaign missions. And if it is possible how do I fix the problems I am having. Thank you.
