What page is that? An oculus page or through system settings? It says you are running Quest. I have Rift S. Different Oculus software perhaps?

Everyone seems to be using Quest 2 or 3. I have Rift S, cable driven. I was not using Steam, so I downloaded it and tried running DCS through Steam. maybe I am not doing the correct procedure, but this didn't work either. Any new recommendations for solutions?

Take your time shopping or VR sets with oculus, as you won't be able to use them anyway.

Don't touch a thing then! lol. I completely deleted my Rift S Oculus but on re-install it downloads V63. Still does not run. Maybe your subversion is slightly different? Anyway, enjoy the emersion experience. I tried a Gulf Free flight today in 2D and it sucked! I am spoiled by VR.

Did not work. I did everything up to step 5. Then went to flash up Oculus and it said I am running V63, Meta Quest Link App Version 63.0.0.216.361 (63.0.0.216.361) Thanks guys for the effort. Standing by ...

My Oculus Rift S came with a virtual desktop. Is the one for purchase different and can solve the V63 issue? Do I just see the 2D desktop of DCS projected in the headset, or does it put me actually back in the cockpit and able to move the view around with my head movement and not fingers on a keyboard or joystick hat switch moving the 2d view around? If I buy something from Oculus and it doesn't solve the problem I will loose my sh&t with them.

I read you can purchase Virtual Desktop in the oculus store to run DCS. I wonder how many people will be contributing to Oculus profits now by resorting this solution? Well played Oculus. If I were DCS I would push for the solution as soon as possible to limit their benefits of screwing up.
