My mistake here...... I check carefully of the TV display, the IR image does shown up , but very unnoticeable .......not a clear and strong signal compared with FC1 and LOMAC.... My screenshots here, Zoom the TV to biggest.....Very hard to spot the IR signal from ground targets......

Just for sure to ask: The AGM65D seeker doesn't show vehicle's IR image in FC2 , that's an known issue ,right?

I'm wondering why " ["reflections"] = false," code in option.lua does not work anymore, even default setting is false we still got reflections. Anyone can keep an eye on this? -

It's strange that RQ-1A do not fire AGM114 in my mission, I have setup WP and TARGETING point ,loadout AGM114, they just don't fire .The task type has been change through AFAC and GROUND ATTACK, nothing diffierent. When pilot skill is Excellent, the RQ-1A just circle at certain position away from target at about 1.5KM. If the pilot skill is good or average , the RQ-1A will fly directly above the target again and again. Any one knows about this?

Sometime the clouds can been seen through the ground...... And another problem, not a bug,but influce the game somehow. In MP, we will get a FPS hit when a explosion occurs in the direction of my viewing point ,even we can't see the the explosion or it is covered by mountain or terrain, any way to solve this?

RES. OF COCKPIT DISPLAYS mainly effect the MFD or the TV display just like the DCS, we still can't find the answer why FPS change so greatly between canopy open and close.... Anyone knows about the FC2's glass rendering? Oh, of course you can jettison your canopy once in the air...that's will get you extra FPS~ :]

I have used No Canopy Scratches MOD ,Not much difference on FPS, just little help. But canopy Open and Close affects the FPS greatly, regardless whether scratches are on or off.

No,jerda, those mods take care about the scratches. I've tried disable the reflections on those files, just delete the TGA files or edit the TGA files to remove the background layers. That's work, but only on the NONE REFLECTIONS issues, NOT the FPS[Explanation below]. These are some picitures show the none reflections. Notice the still great difference FPS change between canopy open and close, IN my point it's 5~10 FPS increase. Front, canopy OPEN, FPS 58 Front, canopy CLOSE, FPS 53 Side, canopy OPEN, FPS 75 Side, canopy CLOSE, FPS 59 ________________________________ Now I think it's not only the reflections or the scratches. It's the RENDERING OF GLASS[using the ALPHA channel for transparent]cost a lot of FPS. So anyway to stop this rendering? Not just change some textures.

____________________________________ First Floor is out of date , we are now talking about stop Glass Rendering, See 8th Floor ____________________________________ Is there any way to disable the "Reflections" in the cockpits just like the FC1? I've found the options.lua in "Flaming Cliffs 2\BlackShark\data\scripts" but the default reflection settings is "false" , but we still have it in our cockpits. I have some screenshots shows we can have a great FPS change while the cockpit reflections on and off..... The first one, cockpit shut off, FPS 59 Second one , cockpit open, FPS 75 SAME scenery, GREAT difference.....maybe someone can give us a hint~:D

We are also rely on Yoda's LRM to control the payload..... Current FC2 and DCS do not have a payload customize perhaps because of the GUI issues... Really hope ED could made a payload and also countermeasure select interface for MP and check weapon use by pylon......

But that's still go back to the start point......No way to have customize loadout with a reasonable method

If any ED's supervisor can tell us wether the rearm.lua and the aircraft lua(which define the chaff and flare settings) are enforced by server? or need to be checked by server? Really wish ED can make a patch to allow the loadout customizing in MP~

I found possible locations of the files might be useful, but I have not able to tested it yet. If you want to do any change ,BACKUP first, and use the notepad++. first one: Flaming Cliffs 2\Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common\Rearm.lua This file is what I believe to be the radio rearm menu will offer. The file is quite clear and easy to understand. Find the A/C you want,eg Su_27(careful:not Su-27) Change the weapon CLSID on the corresponding pylon. second one: Flaming Cliffs 2\Scripts\Database\planes\ This is the place for all planes lua. You can change the default chaff and flare loadout here ,very simple. ________________ But for the massage above , I am not sure if it will work and in MP , It may failed the Anti-Cheat check or even the file is only read from the HOST side, may be someone can have a try. -

Me too, pefer the own weapons payload and coutermeasure setting. So anyway of making this happen? -
FC2 is a great work, some question here. In the Mission Editor ,we seem can't save a custom weapon loadout in the default list not like the FC1, we can make a custom payload just for every single mission but next time you entering the FC2 for a different mission the payload is gone...... Any measure to save the loadout in default loadout list? And in the MP we are not able to change loadout in the GUI , must call the radio to change. Is there a way to change those default playload and the default Chaff and Flare setting that can suit me best? Eg. I'm a Su33 pliot and I want a 6EM+2ET+2R73+ECM playload with a 50 chaff +46 flare setting, how can I do that regardless the mission file settings? Thx all, and Thx ED for the great project

In FC1 all flanker has 96 CMs in total......and in FC2, Su33 is still 96 but the Su27 and Su30 get double? .......strange thing.......:huh:

New bug found ........ The Su-27 can carry 96 chaffs and 96 flares at default, could be a little bug , also I love this bug....

A possible BUG in SETUP. When installing a file called "MP Total Air War 56?6.miz" will showed error massage :Move file failed , code 123 Serval same reports on 3GO forum. English Download Version , MD5 hashed all matched. The OS is Win7-64, Chinese version.
