In fact the new AIM-120 can NOT pull the namely G at will,it has limitations and reaction time to let you get away,and most other old model missile can pull the max G instantly without too much limitations. As for the 180deg turns, I think these kind of obvious bugs are the least thing we need to worry about, the bug is too obvious to be last for a long time.:D -

PL-5 is not a very prefect missile, but can put considerable threat to the enemy @ 1-3nm,if the target did not flare too much, best to lead the missile manually if off-boresight.At higher altitude U can even try a 6-8nm shot if the target is careless and not pay attention to the smoke. Shoot from above could introduce missile look down penalty, but don't think that too much, basically you don't have the time to choose whether to shoot from above or bottom. If the target do not flare & jinking hard, it won't make too much difference, if they do flare rapidly, above and bottom won't make too much differece either:lol:. -

If U are being shot at 2-4nm in the face by ARH missile, it's extremely dangerous and basicsally no way(no time) to hide or evade. The only thing you can do is just max AB with hard barrel roll dump chaff&flare FAST(I mean, really fast) and pray that the missile won't catch up. And it's better to start maneuver "BEFORE" you're being shot at, not stand still and waiting for a warning. For newer model (120 etc)ARH & most IR SRM, this may get you out of trouble, for standard model(R77 etc) you may still get smashed on the face. -

It didn't suprise me in fact, the target is flying basically a straight line towards the bandit, and with no high off-axis angle, 120 can turn after launch with enough turning room.The F16 is constantly pulling 5-10G during the merge, while Jeff is maintaining no more than 2G before hit. If with high off axis angle / the target is doing some high G barrel roll, it could make great difference. -

The K coefficient of the NEW 120 is a bit low for close range, it will preserve energy well, but have bad response for high G targets. Pretty sure it will be fixed in later patch. -
VS pattern is planned for rewrite, just give L0op8ack some time, otherwise you may see what happens to F-18 today.:D

Easy comms use "", it will auto tune the freq so you don't need to touch the radio. Real comms use "Ralt+"and "RCTRL+"(IIRC) for COMM1 and COMM2 radio transmission, U need manually tune the radio freq(channel on JF17) first, or JTAC will not receive and respond.

Buddy laser should work, but since you don't have a pod, you will need to know the exact location for CCRP bomb release, LGB can not search a very large area, it should be released to the genal location of the lasering point. In SP, player will always be the Host of the datalink network(by selecting MAST on comms 2 channel 199), regardless whether AWACS is present or not. If you disable the easy comms, use Comm 1 to get voice communication.

If carried more than one, jamming power will be reduced. The main purpose is to give you the ability to select which station to carry SPJ.

Jeff has a good turn rate @320-350kts, below that your energy restore could be a huge problem, above that you will hit the G limiter(8G max). But how to fight your enemy still depend on his A/C type, you will need to know his disadvantage.

AI does not use the same FM as the player, M2K could be tough. Jeff has a G limiter for AA/AG switch, keep it at AA. And when near the sonic, G limiter will auto kick in, regardless the mode you selected.

Nope, if carried more than one, the jamming power will drop dramatically. Do U remember the Red Alert classic prompt “low power”.:lol: -
IRL, BRM is just a low cost guided weapon used at low threat enviroment and maybe good at smashing some terrorist camps & tents:D. Anyway, the code is now under adjustment, we will see if it works better.

U will need to feed the gun first. And remember, the gun can only be feeded for 3 times, after that, it's a dead stick. Well, a pure MiG21 weapon. lol.

Will Deka be using new A/G radar API or stick with the old one?

It will rely on ED's AG radar API to further update the EXP/DBS. -
A launch B guide may not possible via datalink for current DCS. IIRC,the only way possible is by laser guided weapon. New API may needed for non-ownership DL guide.(Maybe SLAM can push this)

Shit happens in DCSW:D, especially in MP. -
It should have a 230km DL pod transmit range limit.

I just told people how it works at the moment and how to use it better for current settings. If you prefer unguided rocket fired at 4.8NM fine, that's your choice.:) And I've witness ED's weapon change constantly from Flanker2.5,LOMAC,LOFC,FC2,DCSW1.5,DCSW2.5, yes it has been 20 years, should I blame ED for "exaggerated performance" too?:D

TGP can VID the target from quite some range, and you can point track the target thus you will not afraid the notch. And more important, when point track the target, you will VID the missile launch from target, get a visual warning way further than RWR. -
It should be the same as AUTO for now.

No thanks, I've checked the ZU23's 3D model is should be fine, we will try digging in the weapon parameter.
