CH pedals and the new warthog HOTAS = win

This is DEFINATELY the stick i'm buying I wish i knew where i could pre-order one in Australia!

Thanks for the input lads and especially the pics I won't be building a proper pit, or having an (awesomely!) extended centre cyclic like Gadroc... so CH might be the go, especially as people seem to like the software to program it more.

Hi Guys, Given my location, there aren't any stores around where i can see/touch/feel/try the products i want before buying. I'm looking to get some pedals and i'm tossing up between the CH pro pedals and the Saitek pro flight pedals. Are any of you able to provide some advice, recommendations or comments about either? One might not have a choice due to finances, or a variety of reasons. At least he (and I) can play and learn in the meantime. Not everyone is able to dedicate all their funds and time towards a sim.

lol I can run it on a celeron 2.4ghz machine... it doesn't look amazingly pretty, but it works fine. You should be able to run it, no hassles, as long as your GPU is 256mb

I'd rather the HOTAS Warthog... looks to be much heavier and sturdier.

Any news on the ETA of this setup? I'm holding off getting the current cougar HOTAS to get this setup and am dying to know when i'll be able to get my hands on it!

This is what i wanted to do as well (not go with LOVP, but with something like LEAVU for MFD's and such). Anyone know where LEAVU1 is!?

Which will be cool... but from my (limited) knowledge, doesn't FC2 upgrade the graphics engine to what DCS uses? That basically f*cks it for me, as i don't have a gutsy computer at the moment.

Shame it's soviet only :( Is LEAVU 2 only for FC2 though? I like the fact i can actually play LOMAC on my PC, as opposed to Black Shark which runs in single digit frame rates... I wish the leavu project worked for old LOMAC/FC

This might be a silly question... but is there a version of LOVP that isn't in 'soviet style'?

The virtual panel will be good... but i was thinking more along the lines of the MFD/Shkval displays being outputted to another screen, instead of just the gauges.

So anyway, my PC doesn't have enough grunt for DCS:BS... so i'm waiting on the funds for a new PC. In the meantime, i've picked up lock on and it seems to run sweet. One thing is that i have a 7" samsung u70 LCD screen and i'm wondering if you can output cockpit sections, like you can with Black Shark, to another screen in Lock On? Thanks in advance

Yep, that displays the cockpit on the left/main screen. edit - wait one, didn't add the '2048' setting in there. Will check again tonight.

Eh, looks more of the same along with the COD: Modern Warfare series. I'd prefer a better Operation Flashpoint 2 personally
