"THAT" Mig-29 Hi There, The AI Mig-29 that is always up to the North of the beach and towards the mountains is almost impossible to lock onto. My budy and I tried and tried earlier Today and neither of us no matter how close we got could get missile lock on him. Also, any chance we could have a few more AI aircraft at random locations? Just upgraded to the X52 flght control system and I'm looking for recommendations on what F15C controls to set up to which buttons.

Damn I am lasting like 2 minutes at most on the server Tonight before getting splashed! Red team are hot Tonight for sure.

I dont see why he wont. I came from an Xplane 11 background and within a couple of days of starting with DCS I was joining my buddy in multiplayer dogfight servers and havent looked back. Yes he WILL get shot down but you keep getting back up and trying again and slowly but surely it will be him splashing others

Jump on the Dogfight Dogfight Dogfight server and you will have a blast! My buddy (DaveOcean) and myself (DW2020) are on their most evenings and there is always plenty of action particularly later in the evening.

I am pretty new to DCS also and tried a few missions then my buddy persuaded me to go onto a multiplayer server and I have never looked back and now dog fight regularly. Every other night I go on an acrobatics server instead which is free flight for you to practise takeoff, landing and flight maneuvering ready for dog fighting and there are always very experienced pilots on the server willing to give assistance and suggestions. You WILL get shot down loads of times but the first time you Fox 1 and splash the enemy is a helll of a feeling!!

Looking at getting an additional terrain and me and my buddy who I fly with are considering Persian Gulf and wanted to get opinions on it from people who who fly it? Worth the outlay? Much variety? Do most of the MP servers support it?

I think its going to be either the F16 or F18 for me next and am now just trying to decide which. 90% of my missions are Air to Air with just a small amount of Air to Ground.

My DCS has lost its keyboard assignment for rudder. It was mapped to Z and X which I believe are default assignments but now there is no button listed against rudder and when I double click on the cell to add a button it does nothing. Also clicking ADD against that control does nothing. Any ideas please?

My buddy "DaveOcean" introduced me to your server and I am blown away by it (literally....frequently LOL). Love the variety of areas and we always manage to find action. We fly the F15C which is a damn fine aircraft and always manage to find some very good dog fights on your server. One thing that we find curious is that when you take off and bank right and then go to the end of the beach and head towards the mountains you always get a radar hit on an enemy Mig29 which is impossible to catch! I was doing 700 knots at low level and never caught him and in the end turned around without being able to engage him or him engage me and my buddy just remarked "Oh that's a ghost". Just curious as to what it actually is as hes always in the same location. Anyways 10 out of 10 for an immensely playable server and look forward to getting back on in the morning Best Regards DW2020
