Loving the try and fly for a month. Today I flew a large amount of aircraft that I wouldnt of been able to fly if it wasnt for this. High points of the day: Flying a Spitfire over Normandy at low level flat out! Flying an F-16 over Normandy during the D Day landings. Now that WAS cool!!!

I tried the AV8B during last free trial and enjoyed it so this time it went on trial and sale I purchased it. Very stable aircraft and although I havebt worked out the VTOL capabilities yet is a very enjoyable aircraft to fly

You guys are waaayyyy over thinking this! If you get the angle of attack right, altitude and speed you don't need to mess with flaps or trimming and can drop the Hornet onto the runway very nicely. She is built for carrier landings so has a very solid undercarriage that will sustain a lot mroe force than most aircraft.

Looks very dodgy to me! Purchase with a credit card, at least that way you can do a charge back through your credit card company if it is a scam

200 knots is damn fast for a landing, more of a controlled crash at that speed!

Download servers are going to be hammered for a few days while everyone grabs the "try and fly" modules.

Morning guys, Was getting really poor downlaod speeds this mornign when trying to downlaod some of the "Try and Fly" modules so instead I added the torrents to BitTorrent client and getting much better speeds. When they complete where do I placfe the downlaods so that DCS will see them and install them? Thanks

Trying it now and getting about twice the usual speed :-)

Supposedly yes, I havent tried it personally but did read of someone else on the forum doing it.

I cancelled and then went back in and the speed are a bit better now but not exactly stellar!

Same here after Todays patch. Playing Open Beta and installing several minutes to load server list but used to take just a few seconds...

The Nevada map had great potential so it's a real shame that more wasn't included

It was very slow first thing for me but since then about normal speed
