Doesn't work with ground attack either. There's no use having long range SAMs in missions. I look forward to the finished product. It's a really nice beta, though.

I think we have to look beyond the DC, which for all intents and purposes, is an outdated concept. What we should be thinking about is a persistent map fought over online.

Were you thinking moving trigger zone with AWACS? That's how I've solved it with an added AND unit alitude more than statement. Still, it would be such a time saver if GAI worked or the ME was user friendly, ie. If BLUE coalition units type AIR inside zone X activate unit Y - with the ability to copy paste each link of the statement. At this point, I am waiting for the modders to save the ME. Don't get me wrong, I love making the mission, I just have other things to do with my life as well :) It seems we aren't too far away from someone being able to program a persistent world for us - which would be more than awesome. Too stiff as is now.

That bad, huh? :) It is really interesting and for now, I'm happy with nanomanaging everything but for every single mission it might just get old. It is, however, very sweet when it works. I wish we could make some sort of template for waypoints. The ME mods is making it easier just strange that core functionality has to be modded to be tolerable usability wise.
