That is good news... Congrats ED! I hope you will get some good sales figures with Black Shark...

I use the CH Family (sighterstick, pro throttle and pedals) that combined with Track IR 4 is a (IMHO) very good setup, albeit a fairly pricey one.
Still I won't say one stick is better than any other it all depends on the feel for the person using it.

12- How about a release Note :smartass:
Just kidding, I actually think you covered the topics nicely Wags.

Great update... I think DCS will be a milestone in combat flight sims.
I also think this way of business is good for ED, direct sales to costumors eliminates at least one link in the consumer chain (heh I still hope to pursuade my boss so we can manage to scrounge some for the store I work in) by eliminating importer and the publisher.

Brilliantly done Sim-Mod, great attention to details and stunning visuals.... Thanks Yeniceri and crew!!!

I'd go for the AH-64 series first closely followed by the AH-1Z, and then the KA-50, always liked the Hokum even the first artist impressions from NATO back in the mid 80's

One of the best investments I made for peripherals has been the TIR and my CH pedals, I can't imagine flying without any of those anymore.

Thats the beauty of the MFP, I use mine for all sorts of gaming - flight sims, racing sims, FPS and RTS.
Good to see you here Revvin.
Yeah mine will be aswell, just need to find some more time in the days, just got a new job, and it has already taken every sunday untill after new year (then again that should fill the purse so I can get my sticky little paws on that MFP..... :D)

Thank you for FINALLY getting the name right Danish Squid! Gentlemen, it's an MFP as in, panel. The CH MFP can be used in or for any Windows application. It can perform up to ohhhh a buttload of functions. Easy to program too. Each button can be placed where you want them on the clear portion of the panel. They'll keep whatever you've programmed to them where ever you move the button to.
No worries Ghost, I noticed that aswell.

I'd say yes basically because it would bring a new way of fighting to the game, I'd like to zoom through the valleys (Tornado style some might say) and then popping up so my "Wizzo" could get a bead on the target, then lofting a stick of GBU's the the area while lighting up the target. :joystick:
(Hmm I might be damaged goods here I was always partial to the Beagle having been up close with some a few times aswell as building a lot of them in different scales)

I plan on getting at least one of the CH MFP's, best thing is they can be used for anything and they are cheaper overhere than the joystick and throttle.

I have a suspicion that the rotor turns clockwise on the Hind, at least according to any data I've seen about it and the 3 different models I have completed of in over time, I suspect Geier or anyone from ED could confirm this, actually most french helicopters have a clockwise rotation of the main rotor aswell

I really like the look of the new terrain, much more realistic to view, and with greater depth perception. Good work.

The 3P ammo is simulated in SB Pro PE, pretty good at ruining the day of infantry or the nosey Hind popping up over the woods thinking that no one can harm it. :D

it's a Su-30 not Su-33.
The tailhook under the rear fuselage aswell as the 12 weapon stations suggest it is a SU-33, also the colour of the missiles would suggest that it is just dummies or mockups.'

Good news Matt, looking forward to seeing that and getting some pointers :joystick: :punk:

I also think many casual user will want to try their hands on the realistic modes and that way more people will turn to the dark side... ooops my bad got a bit carried away there :D
I do think any sim today need a way to get casual and non die hard fans to get into the game, and casual mode is the best and easiest way.

I'd fly it aswell, more challenging to stay out of sight and mind and lead the heavy troop in to do the hurtin'
