  1. For a distinct experience it would have to be an F/G dual seat model and at least Block 2(ish) software and capabilities to be any different than the current C Lot 20. I would be happy with a legacy D model or a lot 20 F since I like the multicrew aspects of flying. however the real changes as has been stated didn't really start happening till block 2/3 on the supers and that's going to be difficult to model.
  2. At this point, I am still riding out the storm in my Strike Eagle, but if there is no resolution or the resolution is the removal of the Strike Eagle and other Razbam Modules from the sim, I would be nice if we could get a credit for the upcoming 15C for those that stuck it out. While I will miss the A/G Aspects of the E, I would be willing to trade 1 eagle for another to scratch that itch. However it is my sincerest hope that something can be accomplished and that some form of resolution comes from this and we can continue to use the Strike Eagle and other Razbam products for Years to come.
  3. Helios makes it fairly simple after you get the correct setup done, but yeah all the displays should be easily exportable in general without having to rewrite some of the lua's and breaking IC.
  4. It would be great to have additional Sabre variants to flush out the NATO Korean and post Korean arsenal. Yes skins do make cosplay possible, however the Orinda and Avon powered sabres are more capable than the F model that we currently have, however they share many of the systems that we see in the current F model.
  5. With the coming straight deck carriers, it would be great to have examples of the early cold war jet fighters. Starting with low hanging fruit, it would be great to see the FJ-3M Fury. This was the ultimate slim fuselage naval sabre, with the 6-3 wing as an F-86F with sidewinder and cannon armament. The era of 1944-1960 is a fascinating time where many different design philosophies and interpretation of what the future held. Not a pounds video on the FJ2/3 https://youtu.be/xV-Q2WP3LbQ?si=_uTUR0PxSvpICjuf
  6. This post is to create a wish list point to include the basic dumb munitions functionality to the F-15C. Not asking for LGB's or JDAMs just Mk8x series and CBU's that can be used by the 15C/D/J/DJ in CCIP mode.
  7. Anyway you could post those pictures? I would love to see what the panels looks like, I can't find them anywhere online.
  8. The Extra radios would be useful in multiplayer gameplay, when you have a GCI/AWACS controller and want inter flight over SRS. So those would have an impact on gameplay, however compared to AAR, Quad winders and the INS system (or the option to 3d mount the 430) it is less impactful. I would sacrifice the radios and even the INS for AAR capability and quad winders in a heartbeat.
  9. The interesting thing is that there is already an IFR mod out there and it is really only needing the "plumbing" hooked up and the switch panel wired in for it to be a fully functional thing. Now I am not sure l, but I would venture a guess that the asset could be had for a thank you shout out in a news letter or a trivial amount of exchange, and that would shave off 90% of the dev time for ED. The Aim9 pylons as you said @cailean_556 are a visual asset and a few lines of code away from activity. All of this is very low hanging fruit for ED to put a devs time into while waiting for something to compile and have a huge return on the investment with the customer bases perception of the company. It's just very frustrating to see this not become a thing. As much as I would love to also see a fully fitted out EM or Tiger 3 or the holy grail of an F-20. I can see the justification on ROI, and from how I've been thinking about it since I bought it, the Jeff fills that role nicely when you put a favorite livery to it (shout-out to D1tch3r for his sweet South East Asia camo livery). But if I ever win the lottery.....there will be a privately funded Tiger upgrade somehow to the modern versions or an F-20.
  10. @MAXsenna I do not believe that the rwr is not exportable since there is no direct call out, but it has been a while since I have looked for it. I do hope that you can pass along what Madkreator said to the dev team @BIGNEWY as its a great explanation as to what is needed to make this all work for the better. There is no need to change the IC process for this to be solved, its just a matter of adding and documenting the names of the exports to the scripts files. Such that someone can go in and create there own monitor setup file with the exports, they would like to have shown on an aircraft by aircraft basis. @MadKreator I will also have to look back at the update notes for how the new helios functionality works regarding the mpcd call outs. that would at least get me to having 1/2 capacity in my cockpits on servers that have pure scripts enabled.
  11. @BIGNEWY As a community admin and former competitive player in other games when I was younger, I can understand the predicament that you are in with things like IC. While I understand the want to not have exploits for things by modifying the lua coding to make things that shouldn't really be possible happen (Hacking in an AESA radar refresh rate or changing weapons parameters), but not having a IC compliant way of exporting the screens from a cockpit unique to each aircraft in a "study level" simulator seems a bit counter to the goal of the sim. Now I am not someone who's going to build a full 1:1 replica of a particular planes cockpit (I fly too many different things to do that lol) but even at my level (a couple of switch boxes and touch screen monitor for MFDs and UFC's). It's highly frustrating that If I don't pre plan where I am going and more importantly remember that I have to disable the modified scripts for X server but I am fine to have it in Y server, when a friend says "hey hop on X server and lets go for a flight" then have to start, get kicked, close, fix the exports then restart DCS on my limited time budget is very frustrating. I am not going to lie, but it seems like a pretty no brainer fix to just grab the changes that Helios makes (which covers 95% of all the modules) in its default patches and just have them be in the base game Lua's. Doing that along with adding the ability to export the FC aircraft screens (the F-15C's weapons panel and RWR come to mind as long time frustrations) in the same manner would be huge helps to the simpit community (both the hard core and not so).
  12. Can we please get the MFD exports added to the white list on IC check. using a home cockpit with exports used to be easy and would allow me to us the cockpit that I've built in any server that I wanted to. However the IC Check now causes more kicks and frustration than does anything to help the "Fairness" on servers because someone has something different in the cockpit files. With the popularity of Helios and the availability of MFD's that we've seen in the last couple of years for home cockpits, this should be addressed and made so that its not as frustrating to get onto multiplayer servers.

  14. I was more referring to be being able to have a centerline tank with the T-pod on the chin for strike missions with heavy ordinance on the inner wing stations. However thanks for the info about it not having an AA mode.
  15. The +1 sd-10 would be cool but I would much rather have the chin mount so you can run a center 800l with the Tpod.
