  1. Came here to write about this, good to see I'm not the only one. My thinking was that George should auto slave to the current FCR target under the following conditions: George is directed to have no weapons WASed. Pilot has selected the FCR as sights. Pilot has selected TADS as acquisition source. The pilot has scanned and have an active target. Maybe there needs to be a timeout for George to stand down. 30sec after the last scan? Would also be nice, if then telling George to lase the target, we could also tell him to store the target. Using the fire authorization command, while nothing is WASed would command him to store.

  3. The bug is still present. Every inland water area (lake, river, reservoir), that has the same altitude shown on the map as the land surrounding it, has this invisible wall around it. For example a lake sitting on a plain at 215ft showing the same 215ft for the altitude, when looking at the water surface, instead of going to a lower number like 180ft, if the lake is 35ft deep. The walls are 15-20ft tall, so they are a serious threat to low flying helos. With the improved track recording, I was able to record the issue properly. The Huey just blows up as it touches the wall. The M1 will shoot trough some times, other times hits the wall, so it might not be fully solid. Also the convergence on the machinegun gets really freaked out at point blank range. The tank could drive through it with no issues. gulf invisible barriers around lakes rivers.trk
  4. It was ok for me on the previous build, but now they are barely visible from 50ft. Didn't change anything in the settings and all the view distances are set to max, graphics on highest, drivers updated. The deck crew are missing their glowsticks as well.
  5. I did, then tried to repair and DCS still wants to disable CA. The dll is where it supposed to be, it hasn't been moved to quarantine. I also tried completely pausing the anti virus, same thing. The rapair is not happy with the dll, but I can start the game, if I manually copy the old dll back from the "_downloads" folder (where the repair puts the "incorrect" file after replacing it) and overwrite the new version dll.
  6. I have white listed the file completely, did a repair and got it working after restoring the modules from the "downloads" folder once the repair finished. However with nothing having changed since yesterday, trying to log in now, the game wants to disable CA again, but this time only CA and not the rest of the modules. Yesterday's modules included the free maps as well, so I don't see how it would be caused just by that single CA related dll.
  7. Had the same. During the download my anti virus flagged the dll as harmful application and deleted it. Restored the file from quarantine, but got the below error on the auto start after patching. Exited the game and did a full repair. Now the game wants to delete all those modules.
  8. Still happens, rather frequently and it is really frustrating. Happens with radar guided missiles and even AAA shells as well. Had several deaths, where the missile was 300-3000ft away from me. And before someone says it; no it's not a TacView issue, I see the same in game.
  9. There is a misunderstanding there; I wasn't asking about cheats and exploits. I was asking if it's possible (sometime in the future) to white list certain things, add more options for server admins, to select what is included in the IC and what is not. Blanket blocking things is not a good solution, as now we can't even use things that you guys provided for us, like exporting instruments for our home pits, without exposing the whole server to cheats. Which leaves the admins with only the illusion of choice.
  10. I have talked to the server devs, they have had to make some tricky stuff in the past to block cheaters and allow innocent mods, but the new system doesn't allow those workarounds anymore, so it's all or nothing. Thanks to griefers, they won't turn off the option.
  11. Could the countermeasure programs just simply be white listed on IC? Don't see how someone could be using it to cheat.
  12. There are several small lakes and water reservoirs across the map, that have an invisible wall of ~15ft, sticking out of the water near the shore. This is really deadly for helos flying low, to avoid SAMs. Got some screens of a few of them, not the easiest to find and grab as the walls seem to be only centimeters thick. Edit: The mouse cursor is not visible on the screenshots, my bad. However from the coordinates you can see, that I barely moved it. I also moved it inwards to the lake, so the altitude should be even lower. Some of the pics are in reverse order, wall first then the lake.
