How do I stop autopilot from deactivating when using AutoDescent?

Turning the helicopter seems a lot less responsive. If this is more realistic then that is great, but I hope they did not add behind the scenes joystick curves. Not accusing them of doing this btw.

1.02 sound engine discussion So if I turn GUI to 0 and In Cockpit to near 0, and have Headphones and World at 100, is this what the sim's creators think I would hear if I was sitting in the BlackShark with tight noise canceling headphones?

So does Modman 7.2 work with this? Forgive me for not wanting to read the thread

When I use AutoDescent and get 1 meter off the ground the three stabilazation autopilot programs deactivate. How do I stop this from happening? Also when I use Altitude Hold the RALT Hold light on the overhead panel does not light up; this only happens when I start the Shark manually. What am I doing wrong?

How about some comparisons between Windows XP Pro x64 SP2 and Windows 7 x64; both with mirrors on and off.

Next DCS (US) Fixed Wing Aircraft Wish List

How about a one seater VTOL jet like the Harrier. -
I use my CHPT's ministick for manuel Shkval slew and would like better axis adjustment like Naturalpoint has in it's software for the TrackIR. I hate making curves for my joystick axis. For example I would like to set (deadzone end)-70% of the real life stick to give me linear 0-60% of the max Shkval speed; and set 70-85% of the real life stick to give me linear 60-100% of the max Shkval speed. Also as with all sims being able to remove stuff in the cockpit that we have on our desk would be nice.

Is LOMAC realistic enough to combine it with BlackShark? I have never played LOMAC and am curious.

Afraid to use functions in TrackIR and joy2key.
XarBat replied to XarBat's topic in Bugs and Problems
It only improves performance in games that have special support, none of the recent titles I have played, and even then not by much usually < 5% fps. There is significant background noise with a pci sound card; if you want something without the noise you need an external DAC or possibly a USB sound card. An external DAC would not interfere with your system at all. When I played Morrowind a long time ago, my creative sound card actually caused major slowdowns and stutters because of the interval in which it communicated with my cpu. Dramatically lowering this interval in the BIOS either reduced or solved the problem. The default latency for the sound card was way too high, I assume that it caused slowdowns or at least delays in the audio of other games as well. But this thread is about more than sound. I am going to see if using joy2key will cause problems with the sim. -

What about joy2key? have people been able to use that without problems? As for sound, I will check my motherboard manufacturer's website and see if they have updated sound driver's for my motherboard. If background noise and other problems are bothering you; I recommend you hook up an external DAC to the Audio Digital Out on your motherboard. A PCI sound card will compete with your graphics card for CPU bandwidth. Another thing that bugs me is I have to move my rudder pedals to trim the aircraft. If I press the trim button after just moving the stick but not the rudder pedals it does not work. -

Most people don't use sound cards nowadays. -
A while ago I spent some time remapping a lot of keys on the keyboard, about half way through I noticed that the function keys and some others no longer responded. I realized later that this was after I hit the Pause key for TrackIR. Thought it was no big deal, then later when I played, the game had a weird glitch where after about an hour into a mission, pressing left on the ministick would jettison the ATGM missiles. I also was unable to hear missile/gun release/fire sound effects; so I decided to uninstall/reinstall. I don't have control problems but still can't hear some sound effects. I want to use joy2key or a similar program to have diagonal slew for my eight way hats and also to have both weapon release and gun fire activated by my trigger button. Anybody else experience problems after using the TIR software pause or joy2key? Also, anyone know possible causes of the sound problem? I am on Windows XP Pro x64, have a Phenom 2 940 and a GTX 280 and no sound card.

I have the Shkval set to the ministick on my Pro Throttle. I want to know if their is anything in the cockpit that will let me adjust the slew speed. Is there?

Is there a mod for a cleaner cockpit. Without the 4808 and whatever is going on with the floor.

Why is it unrealistic to get rid of the vertical shift?

So exactly how much larger and harder to press are the buttons on the Black Shark number pad and other panels when compared to the keys on your average keyboard''s number pad? What are you going to use the thumbjoystick for when you have usb versions of all the controls?

What exactly do you mean by "Track reproducibility"? NVM

Are there in game takeoff, shutdown ect. checklists or do I have to play this in windowed mode?

I changed the eight modifier keys to switches but they still work as modifier keys. Please help

How do I make what activators I have on appear as text onscreen?

How many mouse buttons do I need for cockpit clicking?

Did the same thing, also set all processes running in the background to core 0 just to be sure. Although it will make a lot less difference for me since even with all the periphial software, as well as other things my memory useage is below 400MB when no applications are running.

So what does your entire autoexec.cfg look like?
