59th_LeFty Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 (edited) The aircraft type is not a question, if I'm correct, but the detailed variant is what you need :) Edited October 8, 2009 by 59th_LeFty [sIGPIC]http://www.forum.lockon.ru/signaturepics/sigpic5279_1.gif[/sIGPIC] I could shot down a Kitchen :smartass:
mvsgas Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 I'm think is ether a Chinese Z-10, Kawasaki OH-1 or a South African Rooivalk Chinese Z-10...:book: don't tell me, don't tell me, I just got distracted listening to Flea playing bass, hold on :D To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
topol-m Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 It is none of those mentioned above :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
joey45 Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 MD 500, any variant.. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. 59th_LeFty Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Nah, can't believe it nobody know it :D It must be some Mi-8/17 variant, I've simply never seen those LCDs, which are the key. [sIGPIC]http://www.forum.lockon.ru/signaturepics/sigpic5279_1.gif[/sIGPIC] I could shot down a Kitchen :smartass:

SpudmanWP Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 I knew what this was when I saw it this morning and am surprised it's still open. B-58A Escape Capsule http://www.ejectionsite.com/eb58caps.htm Bailout at Mach 2 (about 1400 miles per hour) can be hazardous to your health. The windblast can tear your helmet off and send your arms and legs flailing helplessly. At high altitudes ( above 40,000 ft ) the air is too thin to support life. It's cold too, nearly 55 below. So what do you do? America's first supersonic bomber, the B-58A Hustler built by Convair in Fort Worth, Texas, posed just this problem for the three-man crews that flew her. Early production and test airplanes were equipped with conventional upward ejection seats, one for each of the tandem seated crew members. Side-mounted headrest panels helped hold the crewman's head steady so windblasts would not toss the head about too wildly. Straps attached to hands and feet automatically tighened on ejection to minimize arm and leg flailing. Those measures helped, but were not really much protection at Mach 2. More was needed. Open View

nscode Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 :surrender: how did you manage to guess the engine without guessing the correct airplane  It's actually a Zlin-526. Very rare with that engine.. Here's a clue about the student (you win anyway, but just for fun): one of the airplanes on the previous page was sold to this country :) Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.
