Rhen Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Im in the USAF and fly and I can pickup who is a flyer and not pretty dam easily but I guess you never know. Ok Chris, I'll bite. What aircraft do you fly for the USAF?
Spins321 Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Hey Striker, I hope you don't mind me asking, but do you fly 130s or 53s?
Weta43 Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 That post from Mr Mudd - is Mr Mudd's name Rick? cause it reads like a comment by mudd on RickUSN's post, not a comment by mudd himself... _______________________________________________________ NO Hog Drivers Involved with 1.1 I left that development early becasue the Russian Programmers were so ignorant in just getting the F15 Correct. It was a pointless battle with them clowns. Even took it to the top of the Food Chain, to the guy that was paying for and owned the eagle Dynamics Studio. The point Being was that their was too much resistance from their workforce to implement what we as Subject matter experts tried to pass on to them. The truth is that their programmers were just not capable, and the fact was their employees were quitting all the time. "RickUSN- That was intelligent and useful Mudd. But it certainly is what Ive come to expect. Mindless babbling with no intent to either enlighten or inform. Edited by - mrmudd on Mar 01 2005 07:10 AM _______________________________________________ also - =STRIKER= didn't actually say he flew FOR the USAF - not saying he doesn't but He actually said he's in the USAF, and that he flies. :-) Cheers.
STRIKER Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Hey Striker, I hope you don't mind me asking, but do you fly 130s or 53s? MH-53's [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Guest IguanaKing Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Every time I see a Top Gun reference I picture the Monty Python "Spanish Inquisition" crew, led by Michael Pailn, rushing in wearing Leather flight jackets. :D Wow...that sounds like a mixture of the "Spanish Inquisition" skit, and the "Biggles" skit. Secretary: Si, senor bigles. Biggles: Don't call me senor, I am not a Spanish person. Heh... Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition! We have two chief weapons...surprise, fear, an almost fanatical devotion to our sim... No wait...that's three chief weapons! Surprise, fear, an almost fanatical devotion to our sim, and nice brown, leather jackets. Oh, bugger, FOUR chief weapons. :D
Rhen Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Is that as baggage or behind the windshield in the right seat? Seriously, I don't care what anyone else flys around here. There's some good info in this thread going to waste because of the "Spanish Inquisition" - to borrow someone else's words, going on around here. If we could get on with the things that need improvement in both the Russian aircraft and NATO/US aircraft. Regardless of the source, I wholly agree with the position that the aircraft - whether it be the Eagle or fulcrum/flanker, don't quite fly right, and their radars/missiles are screwed. Some simple fixes (a relative term) would cure some of these things. The eggbeater (no offense Striker) is ED's priority, I understand that. But, it's still a shame, while they're working on the BS, that the could work on some "Modern Air Combat" stuff too. Eh, whatever. I'll take what I can get right now.
Guest IguanaKing Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Damn... I thought some of the info in this thread was pretty good, expecially the stuff I posted  If the only way y'all will believe my info is to see a pic of me, well here it is: The steely eyed guy on the left is me. The one in the middle that won't keep her mouth shut is my sister. She's talking to my little brother on the right. I'd introduce you to her, but she can be a real bitch at times. :smilewink: LOL, Rhen. "Its a family photo, with everybody looking slightly to the left. But my sister is cross-eyed, so she can't quite pull it off. One eye is always dead on. Something happened over there...that made everybody happy." :D MH-53's, Striker? Oh, so you're from that part of Kirtland AFB. Much respect to you brother. :)
GGTharos Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 I'm going to grab all the good posts out of this thread and transplant them elsewhere where they will be of more use. Thanks to those of you who have shared your knowledge. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
leafer Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 LOL Rhen, We need proof that the pilot on the left is really you. ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
gundelgauk Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Wow, what a thread. So much potential, yet so much wasted time. Boy, am I glad that I have been rediscovering my love to the A-10 in the last two days instead of trying to "contribute" to this thread. lawl
