T0x1s Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 I don't know if this is the right place for this thread but i just bought combined arms and downloaded it from the download section then after install i went to dcs world/mods/tech/Combined arms then bin and started combinedarmsprotection to activate it. It says i have done it and have 9 activations left. I close it start dcs world check module manager and show key then it says no key. I can play singleplayer missions but when i start online to play with a friend it says invalid serial and i cant login. PLz help!!!
Paganus Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 It's hard to do anything but guess with so little info, but I'll give it a try... Are you sure you purchased CA with the same DCS store login name that you purchased your other modules with?
T0x1s Posted September 23, 2013 Author Posted September 23, 2013 A friend bought 2 keys and gave me one.
zaelu Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 why would you start the activation process separately? Usually you start a mission after a module install and it will then start the activation process. After you activate and enter the mission you can exist. Then start the multiplayer and login. If login is succesful then that serial is activated and linked into your account. In module manager from single player interface is happening the same but I found it to be buggy and takes more time. If all fail you could manually activate on starfoce site I think or open a ticket. Paganus Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Key's belong to the user that purchased them. Your friend must go unlock that key and then when you activate it will belong to your account. --------- In DCS, you should use the same account that you used to purchase the products on digitalcombatsimulator.com. If you need to move a license to a different account, you can do so on this page: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/myserials.php The key will then be moved to the next account that uses it online. (NOTE: this does not move the related purchase information, this relates specifically to multiplayer.)
T0x1s Posted September 23, 2013 Author Posted September 23, 2013 Ok thx for the help. Before he was able to buy fc3 and give me the key then i just activated it as i did now and everything worked but not with combined arms.
T0x1s Posted September 23, 2013 Author Posted September 23, 2013 Still doesn't work... And i get no response from my ticket
