Engine Monitoring Instrument test

Design the PCB and build the driver board and soldering the ICs and wires is a really heavy load work, very tedious.:joystick: In order to build the driver board PCB I even purchased a laser printer.

But at least it finally works.

Nice work looks very smooth!!! With the correct indicator faces and some tubes it would be a great set up...

Thanks Deadman, regarding "tubes", is it some sort of light bulb? Sorry my english is not good.

no it is part of a two inch indicator your instrument panel would have these

sorry I don't have a picture handy but the parts basically are from the front back. ring, glass, needle, face plate, mechanic components,Tube, connector and back plate . every thing is contained inside of the tube the front ring holds the glass on the front and the back plate keeps the unit sealed

CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

Looks great!

What type of drive are you using? RC servos?

Cheers,

DSP

it's stepper motor from VIDMotion:

VID motion provides driver IC for their stepper motor:

VID stepper motor is tailored for gauge.
