Coxy_99 Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Try the switch under the red cover on the engine start panel, You need to flick it to the right.
Big-foot Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Something changed recently, a lot of people are having this problem. You need to flip the right button on the starter panel with the orange safety guard to the right. I understand you don't look any further, it would be nice if someone could create a sticky for this: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=168393[\url] http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=167754 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=167147 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=166693 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=165209 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=164813 EDIT: sniped Specs: Samsung Odyssey MR (VR) MoBo ASUS Z97-K ; CPU i5-4690K 4.1GHz w/CM Hyper212 Evo; GPU GTX 980Ti; RAM 2400MHz CL11 2x8GB; SSD Samsung EVO 250GB (x2); HDD WD Blue 1TB; Case Corsair Obsidian 450D Thrustmast T.16000M TWCS HOTAS, Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals DCS modules: NTTR, Normandy, M-2000C, Mi-8, SA342, FC3, Ka-50, UH-1H, Bf.109K4, FW-190D9, P-51D, Hawk T.1A, CA
Charly_Owl Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 The start-up procedure changed. Check out this http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=157056 on the "Start-Up" chapter to know exactly what you need to do. My guess is that you are missing the "Press the Engine OFF button" step (at the very beginning) on the left side of your seat. It should be a small red button next to your throttle. Azrayen Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Ive never pressed that red button at the beginning and it still starts for me. This is a procedure only for those having problem with their throttle. Ususally a (physical) axis a bit wear-out, which DCS interprets as "not exactly at 0%" thus preventing start. Pushing the button enforces the "throttle = 0 exactly" situation.

Or if you accidentally move the throttle forward before startup. The engine won't start then, and the only way to move the throttle back is the little red button. :D
