Neurowork
I'm having issues with the performance in VR. In the Cold start training mission, I get 22fps where I usually have a steady 45 fps with ASW on with all of the other modules in any situations. Graphics card load is 50%... I did delete the fxo and metashaders2 folder from my DCS.openbeta folder. Tried to repair .. same thing. I'm running 2.5.2.17978.385. Nvidia Driver 397.93 My specs: i7 8700K oc 5.0gHz, Asus Maximus Hero X, 32 Go DDR4 3600MHz, GTX1080 oc 2025MHz, Samsung Evo 960 SSD, Oculus rift CV1 1.26, 2 sensors. nachomaga
Same here, low FPS than before. I didn’t test other modules, perhaps is the update. CV1 here.
Falcaw
Same for me. Tested all this morning with all modules and had 45fps stable in VR with all. Didn't change any setting and now around 22fps. Doesn't look like it is just the FA18 though.
SkateZilla
F/A-18C has Several ViewPorts compared to other Aircraft (even the A-10C) Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2), ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9) 3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs
Jazz_44
Sorry, but what does it mean exactly? That the cockpit is more complex and will always suffer from lower performance compared to other modules in VR?
Falcaw
Doesn't seem to be a Fa18 bug for me. I tested other modules and also have a low frame rate. Mirage, mig21, gazelle etc. Lowering settings doesn't seem to help. Anyone else have the same? Skatezilla - Mig21 is always my goto module for finding my highest settings for stable 45fps in VR. For my setup the mig21 is the one that requires to lowest settings to get stable 45fps. So after lots of testing this morning I had 45fps on the mig21 and on all other modules aswell. After the new beta patch I now have around 15-25fps with no change in settings. I don't think it is a FA18 bug Edited May 30, 2018 by Falcaw
Neurowork
This issue is actually related to the Hornet. It's related to static F/A-18 lot 20 planes sitting in the mission. After replacing those in the mission editor by other plane models. My 45 fps are back !! Joy!! This issue has been reported apparently. Hope they can fix soon but it's a minor issue. Thanks ED for this awesome module. I'm having a blast. I can't wait for the other systems. Back into Case 1 recovery training.
