Darcaem Posted August 5, 2018 Posted August 5, 2018 I'm just messing around with MOOSE, testing and learning. I'm playing with the RAT class to add some "random-ish" unexpected civil traffic. My problem is that as I am force to chose a side for every country, the random A380s are downed either by blue or red air defenses. Is there a way to prevent SAM's from attacking a certaint group id, or aircraft id, or anything like that? EDIT: and I have not tested it yet, but as I'm writting this I'm thinking AI aircrafts set to weapons free ROE would also attack "civil" planes, right?
joey45 Posted August 5, 2018 Posted August 5, 2018 ED are working on a neutral side but not sure when it'll be in sim. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. feefifofum Posted August 5, 2018 Posted August 5, 2018 At WP0 (or SP for REDFOR) click add -> perform command -> invisible This will prevent other AI from attacking the unit. At some point in the recent past it was discovered a neutral coalition had been added to the ME, but it required .lua editing to access so obviously was still WIP. Yep, tested and it seems to do the trick  The A380 just passed over iranian SAM's safely. Lots of passengers thanks you sir!
QuiGon Posted August 5, 2018 Posted August 5, 2018 A neutral coalition is already implemented since last month, but it is still WIP and needs to be activated in the files: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=213725 Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
