Tried all combinations in the options, misc,

Everything works great in the A10c

Any one with suggestions pls help

From change log for A-10C 1.1.1.0:

• Force Feedback stick shaker function have been adjusted.

I guess it should be updated in BS2 too.

Last I knew, having FFB enabled in A-10C caused problems with trim, so I have to wonder if BS did not inherit this problem.

(Not sure if it's applicable to BS2 but in bs1...)

Can you post your contents of I think its Producer.cfg?

(I have a non-ff stick and i am experiencing the nose up issue. I think its because I forgot to set ff to disabled in producer.cfg but haven't had time to test)

Who are you asking?

I'm still waiting for someone with a G940 ffb stick to say they are having the same issue as me OR there's is working properly.

so what is about your centering spring settings ?

I have the G940, it works now fine with BS1.02 trim and I will report on BS 2.0 ASAP.

Yes, but Ive tryed all combination. Might try a reinstall and remap my Hotas.

It works for me in BS2.

I have taped my "Dead Man Switch" (as Havoc131 above suggested), disabled centering spring in general and in the game specific options. I use the profiler to map the buttons and just assign the axes in game. No axes modifications through the BS2 setup.

Hope that helps,

Michael

Sorry DocW, must have missed the "submit reply" before.

No I don't have it enabled. but tried it "on" as well.

And yes the G940 works great for me in BS1.0.2 and A10c as well.

Force feedback for this game on the G940 just does not work well. The jerking forward you're feeling happens exactly the same way in 1.0. The force feedback is exactly the same as 1.0.

The problem is that the spring force applied to the joystick to keep it in its current position is not disabled when you hold the trim button like its supposed to. As far as I know ED hasn't said anything about this and we'll never get this fixed. If I remember correctly, Logitech has stated that it can be fixed with some extra programming.

It's obvious that this is not on their priority list. It's been two years since the stick was released. It's never going to happen and you're better off with another hotas for this game. If you feel ripped off by both companies than come join the club.

I'm sorry you have this in BS1.0 but in BS1.0.2 it works great. In BS2.0 its like the problem I had with an older non FFB stick before i change the FFB off in the producer.cfg file

Don't know for g940, but in 1.0 and 1.02, and dcs a10 it works great with the FFB2, but not in BS2

NO, it's broken

I've got 1.0.2 and 2.0 installed. I'm flying them back to back. The g940 behaves the same. It's jerky when you let off the trim. If you've any pressure on the stick and spam the trimmer, it walks in that direction. There is always pressure on the stick regardless of the trimmer button being held down or not.

I haven't changed any settings in either game except for video and the basic hotas controls. They are fresh installs on a fresh Win7 install. The joystick is at 50% power or so. I remember it doing this the last time I tried to play Black Shark. The force feedback has always been screwed up.

Don't know for g940, but in 1.0 and 1.02, and dcs a10 it works great with the FFB2, but not in BS2

Yeah I'm sure we're all aware that the FFB2 is the ideal stick to have for Black Shark but this has nothing to do with the G940. The G940 has always been bad. There are no workarounds for the problem, only ways to make it less obvious and annoying. The G940 will not under any circumstances work like your FFB2 will in this game.

im quite sure that my G940 didn't do this before a certian logitech profiler upgrade. (but i could be thinking about my Logitech 3D pro which always worked perfectly)

I think it is a driver issues and Logitech need to sort it out, but their updates for this stick have been so slow (even compared to ED).

Edit: is anyone else noticing that with BS2 the logitech profiler will not fire weapons with Right Alt+Space and a few other comannds are weird.

Jesse G940 works fine BS1, have you tryed latest firmware with it. Works like a charm, no sloppiness or jerky after firmware, it,s out from last Christmas.

Not tested bs2 yet.

DocW, Your not talking about the Logitech profiler are you?, as I have everything done in game.

Yes, I am talking about the profiler, I have nothing adjusted in game, except assigning the axis.

You can in the profiler disable the centering spring.

I have no jerking, no trim problem or such. When I trim, the stick rests in the last position hold. I tried BS2 for 5 minutes, so maybe I overlooked something, but it felt the same as BS 1.02.

I taped the "hand on sensor", disabled the centering spring in game, global and individual profile settings (I am at work and do not remember the exact locations, but I remember some redundancy there). I have the profiler in the "persistent profile" mode.

As a side note, for me releasing the weapon (right ALT and Space) was unprogrammable, I had to assign this button in game, solely.

I'd like to hear what progress you make.

Michael.

EDIT: My updater says I have the latest profiler and firmware
